From my Neuro

"you definitly have a demyelinating disease, but I can't tell you it's MS for sure. I'll schedule another MRI for 6 months from now"

Good luck to you Nick. I'd be very interested to hear if you can find a Canada based practitioner. Although I'd preffer someone in BC, Calgary would do. I will be discussing this with my Neuro the end of Sept. Any idea if our medical plan covers treatment for CCVSI?

only in MSer's?

Is CCSVI only found in people with MS? If so, could the detection of CCSVI be used to help diagnose MS?

Anyone in Canada been tested or treated for CCSVI? Just wonderring how our medical plan deals with this, particularly in B.C..

Thanks

undiagnosed forum????

How about a forum for those of us still looking for a dx? I know there are quite a few of us in here, and whether the eventual diagnossis is MS or not, a forum to discuss our journey, or to ask questions of those who've experienced similar issues could be beneficial. Good idea? Bad idea? Comments? T...

Hi Linda. The report said " at least 9 supratentorial white matter lesions consistent with demyelination but do not meet Macdonald criteria for MS." The radiologist did not compare it to my other MRIs, which were done by a private outfit, he either didn't know, didn't care, or couldn't access them. ...

Tramacet side effects?

I occasionally take Tramacet for headache pain when plain aspirin won't do the trick. I took 4 yesterday, 2 at 8:30 pm and 2 at 1:30 am. When my headache woke me up at 1:30 am, and again this morning, I felt like I was vibrating inside. My wife said I was twitching and shaking in my sleep. Felt like...

Update Had a 6 month follow up MRI aug 21st. Got a copy of the report from my doctor, and have an appointment with my Neuro the end of Sept. My Doc says he's sure it's MS, we'll see what the Neuro says. No lesions in the neck, no demyelination in the cervical region. In the head, at least 9 supraten...

Hi daniel

I get shaky hands quite often, particularly when I get worked up about something , or when I exert myself. This is new to me too. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with MS or not (or in my case 'probable MS')

Hey Bubba Had my MRI Friday. No dye, head & spine shots. Coincidentaly, I have been wobbling, stumbling around, but I could feel it comming on Friday AM, so I don't believe it has to do with the MRI. If I hadn't felt anything till Saturday I'd wonder. Went out fishing Saturday afternoon, caught two ...
