Yes, the AGM is today and I'm anxiously waiting to hear from those I know who attended. I went to the hotel where the panel discussion on CCSVI was being held yesterday. As you know, Dr. Sclafani couldn't get out of NY due to weather. After the meeting, I and a few others had the pleasure of meeting...

That's dear ole' Colin Rose. (note sarcasm)

He is anti-ccsvi. He loves to poke his head into CCSVI groups until the moderators ban him. He seems to love the attacks and rebutals. I believe his facebook wall is open for that reason only.

He loves to stir the pot.

Let me pick on just one of the 'expert' panels. . . Dr. Rubin sat on the original 'expert' panel that advised the Health Minister to not proceed with pan-canadian trials because there wasn't enough evidence. Now, he will sit on yet another panel to create an after-care protocol for a condition and t...

Dr. Sclafani,
Could you explain R versus L entry for CCSVI treatment? I understand L is preferred for catching MT Syndrome but are there other reasons and is it more dangerous than going in through the R side?
thank you in advance!

I was treated in Albany as well. I think as doctors gain experience and also learning from us, they adjust what the 'criteria' is that gets treated. Both my jugulars were mildly stenosed at about 40% and I was still treated. My azygos was also ballooned. He doesn't wait for the 50% stenosis mark or ...
