In looking into IP6, it appears to ALSO remove calcium, magnesium and zinc - three vital minerals, especially if you have ms. It might therefore be wise to just eat foods that contain some IP6 (such as sesame, brown rice, and almonds) instead of taking mega doses. Many ms patients feel calcium, magn...

My wife, who also has a mild case of ms, almost always has a cold right hand and foot. Although I believe CCSVI is a major factor in ms, I'm not sure if a partially blocked jugular could cause cold extremities. My guess is the condition is caused by the nerves not firing 100%, causing slight constri...

How to get Dr. Haake's MRI writeup?

My wife is seeing her neuro this Tuesday, and we'd like to give her Dr. Haake's write up on how to properly do an MRI/MRV. As people may know, Dr Haake's MS-MRI website is now shut down (due to overload?). How can we get a copy of the technical instructions? Another question - was this write up to p...

This is a tough one to answer, I'll give you advice based upon my research. First, keep up the LDN - it usually will at least stop progression. Some people do better on 4.5, some on 3.0, but NEVER go above 4.5. Next, get a copy of the MS Recovery Diet, a very informative and positive book on diet ch...

Based upon what I see at their website, it appears that the December issue is still not published. Perhaps that's why the article's not there yet.

OK!!! I just got off the phone with the chief interventional radiologist at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. He had never heard of CCSVI, but was very receptive, he said it sounded very cool, and when can your wife come in (in a joking way at this point). I sent him a bunch of UR...

Anything happening in the Northeast US?

Hi, I'm a newbie here, the husband of a woman with a mild case of ms. We live in New Hampshire USA. Anyhow, this whole CCSVI issue has got us very excited, but I can't believe there is no action yet in the northeast even as far as testing. Does anyone have any leads on when things may start to happe...

Hello from New England

Hi! I have been 'lurking' on this site for many months, and decided to take the plunge and join in. I am the husband of a woman who was dx'd with a mild case of ms 2 1/2 years ago. Her symptoms are not the usual, and even her Neuro han't given her a clear cut ms category. She has a heavy right leg, ...
