Re: Contacting Ultrasound Businesses

Let's hope it reaches the hands of a good salesman. Then every doctor will know about CCSVI and will have a new US device on his desk!!!

The iron deposits in the brain surrounding areas where stenosis were found... That clearly proof the theory (without quotes) at least for me and for people who have a little logic. Cheers :) And besides, the real lack of proof is between the white matter lesions and the MS progression. Neurologist ...

Re: Pick Winable Battles.

To declare my background - I am registered Pharmacist and worked with the pharma industry (as a Pharmaceutical Consultant) until MS prevented this. Why wage a war on pharma ? What do patients with MS gain from it ? The battle to engage in is much more simple - Step 1, How do pwMS get the Ultrasound...

Re: Interesting article from the MSIF....

Q: I have MS. Should I be tested for signs of CCSVI? A: No, unless you are involved in a research study exploring this phenomenon, since at this time there is no proven therapy to resolve any abnormalities that might be observed, and it is still not clear whether relieving venous obstructions would...

DITTO!! Same with me, same with my daughter. He was treating a vascular condition, not MS. Sharon About ethics: Maybe they try to say that nobody has ever fixed a vascular condition in a MS patient and they don't know how the reaction will be, but, even in this case, no test for diagnosis of MS exi...

Re: Statement of the german MS society

It is nice to see that the names of the responsibles of this paper are at the end. I hope some day they will have to give explanations in front of a court, as responsibles for disabilities in several persons. At least, because the text have several inaccuracies, misrepresenting the reality, and they...

"People with MS are unlikely to benefit from treatments that dilate blood vessels." This is what Compston said at the end of the letter. I think it's more egregious than anything else he said. Where is the convincing evidence to support it? He must have been motivated by something other than scienc...

The US and Canadian MS Societies have agreed to fund research into the CCSVI paradigm. Why hasn't the UK MS society? No one is attacking anyone. I just find it strange that the UK MS society can't spare a few pounds for some doppler ultrasounds or MRVs. And Dr. Compston is the person who came forwa...

It is a good, balanced article. Of course the neurologists are cautious. They are right about continued research. But patients who are activists have been the torchbearers. We haven't been cautious... rather we have been bold. ozarkcanoer Now they are cautions, but when everything was first present...

CDMS is Clinically Defined Multiple Sclerosis. It includes all the other terms : RRMS, SPMS, PPMS etc etc. To be precise, CDMS is "clinically DEFINITE multiple sclerosis". It is the higher level of requirements for MS diagnosis according to the Poser Criteria (a battery of tests used to diagnosize ...

The fundamental (haha) problem is that nobody of us is in the position to request for money cause no one is a representative of an association, society or something like that. So the first step would be to found one, dedicated to promote and push CCSVI. It really makes a lot of sense. This associat...

New link between vitamin D and vascular problems

What about indirect marketing via insurances?

I was thinking, is there anybody strong as a pharma and that will get benefit from this? For sure the insurance companies. They are paying millions each year to pharma companies. Maybe any marketing action should be addressed to them. If they find this CCSVI likely to be the cause of MS maybe they w...

I dont post very much but I am going to start by saying that I have read a lot of negitive things from doctors as there first responce to anything new, now Dr. Alex wasent real negitive but I would not take what he said as positive either, and I am tired of these doctors and researchers with a wait...
