And, for the record, I'm quite certain that my neuro has never been in touch with Osama bin Laden.

Paranoid
OK, 1eye, now you're starting to sound paranoid. Maybe you think you have reason to be, but I think that, if it exists, it should be much easier to find and expose clear evidence of kickbacks and bribes than about an international conspiracy to monitor what we say in a doctor's office. Let's keep ou...

Innocent until proven guilty or...
I'm not much of one for conspiracy theories, but given the shenanigans proven to have been perpetrated by drug companies, MS Centers and neurologists in the US (see http://bit.ly/kBCrlj and http://on.fb.me/j3wzqX and http://on.fb.me/k3aLXi ), is it unreasonable to ask MS Societies, Clinics and neuro...

Oh, and here is an excerpt of a more subjective summary of what "liberation" has done for me that I included as a testimonial in the http://www.newhopeforms.ca website: I was diagnosed SPMS in 2004. By mid and late 2009 my symptoms were such that my life was filled with many "Probably...

Walk-aide
Yes, (not) Johnson, we got lucky with the volcano thing. By the way, I didn't mention that I got an electronic walk-aide ($6000, paid for by our HR dept) to help with my continuing toe-drop. It seems to help some. Now that the snow and ice is gone I should be able to give it a real test with some lo...

Thanks
Thanks, everyone and here's hoping there continues to be good news for all of us this year (as I raise my glass in a toast). Hmmmm... maybe it is the wine that's kept my blood flowing so well!

Fiddler - first anniversary
My family and friends held a surprise "liberation anniversary" party for me a few days ago. Since TiMS is where I got most the information I used to make my decision to get "fixed", I want to update everyone here on my progress. Over this year I've seen the following changes: Fat...

IBT: No Change
I started IBT four months before liberation and noticed no change at all. I have had good symptom relief in the 12 months since having the procedure done. So, for me, there has been no correlation between IBT and CCSVI treatment.

Cause of MS
Since nobody knows for certain what MS even really is, nobody knows what causes it. When I say, nobody, that includes neuros. CCSVI is a vascular problem. Saying that the lower jugular is "close to the brain" and so "we should heed the neuros" concerning problems in those veins i...

Changes
Rose, this is a quick summary of what i remember about my changes (follow my blog starting early May, 2010 for details and greater accuracy): Fatigue: this has been my biggest change. About a week after returning from Poland I noticed that I wasn't as fatigued, that special MS fatigue I expect you k...

Time
Rosegirl, my first improvements didn't start for two weeks, then continued quite quickly over two months, at which time they MOSTLY plateaued (I say mostly because I have seen a few more "small" things since then). Your IR doesn't know what he/she is talking about. Take a look at the timel...

Actually
Actually, I do see several big problems with the "demand" that clinics doing the procedure should do the data-gathering regarding efficacy of the procedure so that people can make decisions about the procedure: 1) They would automatically be considered to have a conflict of interest 2) Man...

Ccsvi-tracking
Dania, nobody has to belong to http://Www.ccsvi-tracking.com to see the results. All you have to do is click on the link. Some of the more detailed analysis requires you to be a member, but you don't have to be liberated or even have MS to join, as far as I can see. I'm glad for people whose symptom...

Look at the stats
The results are self-reported and perhaps skewed, but the best long-term (and getting longer) statistics on liberation treatment results are at http://www.ccsvi-tracking.com . Anecdotal stories are good for understanding the emotional impacts that improving or not improving after treatment have on p...
