7 years

Yes, wrt means "with respect to" or "with regards to". And as far as recovery goes, many people do this as a day procedure. Except for a few who have had complications, the procedure is pretty easy and simple, and the recovery is the same. By the way, jbro, I forgot to mention that on http://www.ccs...

Circulation

Jbro, the most common "immediate" improvement quite a number of people have seen is a reduction in the "cold feet syndrome". On the site http://www.ccsvi-tracking.com , where they show the results of over 450 treatments, I think that it falls under the "sensitivity" category, where 69% have seen mar...

Exercises, osteoparthritis and spasticity

I find my spasticity is worse for a minute after I've been sitting (usual hunched over, bad posture!) or kneeling down bent over for a while. However, I have osteoarthritis and am beginning to wonder if something I've been blaming on MS is really due to osteoarthritis. I have been working with my ph...

Self-selected

Yes, concerned, the people on CCSVI-Tracking (and on here) are self-selected. However, the numbers on that site are the most comprehensive we have from anywhere. Interestingly, they seem to roughly confirm what one American doc said a few months ago: 1/3 have no change, 1/3 have modest improvements ...

Re: Cranium

Concerned says: I don't see a majority reporting improvements, maybe 50/50 at best, but that's just a guess. Also, not many of these improvements seem to last very long. Where are you getting your information from, Concerned? At http://www.CCSVI-Tracking.com of over 400 "liberated" participants, 64%...

Seven months

Tomorrow will be seven months since I was treated in Katowice. So far I have maintained my significant improvements with respect to fatigue and modest improvements in mobility, dexterity and strength. As the big spread in yesterday's Globe and Mail suggested, this is no miracle cure, but the improve...

Who saids that?

Hi Dunkempt, Great to hear you're doing well. By the way, who told you that last part: We were told that they were seeing continuing improvements to the more "neurological" problems well after the 6-month mark as iron depletes and lesions close up I was wondering if there was more than anecdotal evi...

I'm lucky

I posted this on my blog last week: I always felt that I am lucky that my neuro and GP are more open-minded than the average medical professional... and my meeting with my neuro today reinforced that feeling. Some of the things that I learned (or sometimes only felt was implied - I don't want to put...

Follow-up

It's not a clear cut case that MSers can't get follow-up in Canada. Besides the fact that I and others who were liberated elsewhere are now able to have our follow-up in Barrie, Ontario, I have never had any indications (from my GP or neuro) that complications due to the treatment wouldn't be treate...

Three months plus

I was liberated just over three months ago and in this last month I've had no noticeable improvements, but no regression either. My energy is still way up and continue to have more strength in my left arm. My mobility and balance are still a bit better - I haven't used a cane in two months now. My m...
