I've been to Poland

Blaze, I've been to Poland... liberated on April 29th. It's all the other folks I'm thinking about now, who aren't getting the opportunity. But, as I mention on my blog, I had some good news today, too: a friend from Quebec who was liberated in Bulgaria on Monday is having tremendous immediate impro...

Depressing meeting with my GP

Although there for other reasons, I took the opportunity to discuss CCSVI and liberation with my GP today. My GP has been quite supportive of my decision to go to Poland, but today he said that he couldn't see how blocked veins could cause hypoxia... which are only caused by blocked arteries to the ...

And if pigs had wings, they could fly

There are no large-scale treatment studies being done in North America, and no likelihood that they will start soon. For now, treatments aren't even being allowed for compassionate reasons. If/when they do allow treatments to go ahead in NA, there will be 1/2 million people on the waiting list. Can'...

Miraculous results

concerned, the possibility that someone in your "sham procedure" study would have a miraculous recovery would hardly prove liberation to be ineffective or should be stopped, only that some people CAN improve due to placebo effects, something that has been known for decades. Seeing no significant dif...

Don't have powerpoint?

For those who don't have Powerpoint but would like to see a version of the draft presentation, there is a new zipped file on my shared server service that allows you to run a version of the presentation even if you don't have Powerpoint or only have an older version of it.

Of course

Hi Mags, of course you can have a copy and share it with whoever you like or change it for your own purposes. I expect to be completely finished in a few days. To download it see the instructions I gave on page 2 of this thread. Note that I intend to have a couple of MPEG movies of Denise's before a...

Newe Draft

OK, folks, a new draft is up. I haven't added the videos because it will make it too big. Still not sure about handouts... there is SOOOO much out there, and it would be easier to work with a sub-committee of their chapter afterward to put together a package, I think.

Yes

Yes, and the best policy (etiquette) - I realized that and am trying to send Denise a message - hopefully she'll reply in time. Does anyone know if she is/who she is on TiMS?

Good ones, but...

Those could be good, Brian, but how do you a) download the videos (not sure I'll have internet at the presentation site) and then edit them (or at least the longer one) so that we can focus on the stepping comparison.

By the way...

Brian, if you can point me to a good, quick video of the venopgraphy of the procedure, I'll see if I can fit it in. And maybe a good quick video of before and after: I haven't been looking at those lately - do you have a favourite?

Thanks

Thanks, Brian, but one clarification: the 20-30 minute time limit (that I set myself) was for the presentation, not presentation plus Q&A. I've figured that we would end up with another half hour of Q&A, but that will really depend on the audience.

Thanks, mate! How did the CCSVI walk in June go? Sounds like the MS Society of Oz is (at least sort) getting on the band wagon - good on ya!

Good discussion

This is an interesting and useful discussion for many people on TiMS, I'm sure. It will be a difficult choice I know, Cassandra, but isn't it wonderful that we all now have a choice!?! And from what I have heard on TiMS, Sofia is a very viable alternative. Whichever you choose, I wish you a wonderfu...

Thanks

Thanks, TMrox. A couple of things, though. I didn't think that Italy had started up again. Also, I'm probably out of the loop (and also realize that I forgotten places like Australia, Costa Rica and Egypt), but are Argentina, Greece, Spain and the UK actually up and ongoing?
