Re: Do you know this wheelchair?

thanks for your reply, Sparky10. but, still not it. it had a square, metal base with 4 small wheels underneath. the seat bottom fit into a space in the center of the base. the seat had a joystick-type control. it appeared very light in weight. it seemed like no particular difficulty for her to lift ...

Re: Do you know this wheelchair?

Do you know this wheelchair?

After I had loaded my purchases into my car, someone backed into to the handi parking spot opposite the one I was in. I watched in fascination as she put down the rear window of her small hatchback. She reached in and pulled out a base. Next she reached back in and pulled out an obviously lightweigh...

Re: A large-scale study of anxiety and depression in MS

hi, all,
in an article that i read, it specified that persons with more lesions in the brain had more severe depression than persons with more lesions in the spinal cord.

Re: I got called a faker!

hi brett, when i parked in a handicap spot at a supermarket (after midnight!), a man who had watched me park came up to me in the store and said, you're getting around fine, why don't you leave those spots for the people who need them? i think ignorance is a massive epidemic in this country. doesn't...

Re: gabapentin

without gabapentin, my feet feel as though i have electric current running across my soles.
i don't know if it makes me weaker (i'm fairly weak), but i doubt i'd stop taking it to find out.

Gardenia, Hello. They are called intention tremors. They occur when you, say, reach for something. This makes them different from the kind of tremors that Parkinson's sufferers experience, which do not need a trigger. I thought that the reason I cannot thread a needle was because my eyesight is poor...
