Talltree11 ~ To my knowledge, none of the DMD's are very effective and I've never had a doc say they were. They help reduce flares by different percentages, but none stop the progression of the disease. Copaxone has the fewest side effects of the DMD's available. You are likely to have varying degre...

I agree with jimmylegs. It sounds like bladder spasms (allowing there's no infection). Increase magnesium. If you take magnesium in the a.m., take more before bedtime. Magnesium glycinate at bedtime would be the best.

Sorry to hear about your fall :( It seems that the kind of fall makes a difference (it does for me). If it's severe enough, I think the stress is what gets the numbness/tingling/confusion to intensify. It will last from a little bit to weeks depending, again, on how bad the fall was. And remember th...

Thanks Cece....problem is, I want to do it. waaaa! I miss getting dirty, smelling like the outdoors, muscles worn out from a full day of physical work that I could look back at and admire. Depression (for me) seems to run in cycles and the warm spell we just had pointed it all out to me again. littl...

I hate spring

Spring used to be my favorite season. Now, all it does is cause depression. We had a very cold and snowy winter...and it made me sooo happy. Now it's melted and I can see all the "Spring related" chores that need done outside...chores I haven't been able to do in a decade. I was always an outdoor ki...

I did not go secretly, i just did not have the time to post it. I sneaked in and took the opportunity when Dr S mentionned on his tread that he was slowed by the insurance companies. Being Canadian I pay cash. I got the OK from Holly Saturday at 16h30 and was on his table Monday morning! Happy Vale...

It was a long time coming but most certainly worth the wait! I resisted going to any of the other treating doctors as well....it was tough sometimes, but I just kept hoping.

We'll all be there with you in spirit Cece. Wishing you an awesome outcome!

I'm glad you're starting QiGong NW4! I'm not sure about the difference but I'm practicing Medical Dao Yin. The sequence is to purge, then Doa Yin meditation 1-10, then the Daoist 5 (5 yin organ tonification exercies). Last is the micro cosmic orbit (or Stroking Beard). I was told to do the micro cos...

Medical QiGong anyone?

I guess it's more of an exercise but you can't get more natural than working with the earths energy!

Started practicing medical QiGong last fall and have been pleased with some minor changes in my physical and mental self.

Just wondering if anyone else practices it.
