Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Do you think that the study that dr. Damadianin did re MS and its cause will gain any traction with the prevailing medical community's approach in the treatment of MS. For some reason the AI theory pand ineffective treatment based on it has been promoted as the way to treat MS. Linda's story is very...

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Had a laminctomy on 5-1 and have seen some benefit. Walking more in a line and less broad based. Better control over urinary function. All in all it was a positive experiemce.

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

My husband brought me an article about Neurontun being linked to hoarseness. I've used it for years and have greatly reduced the dossage. At one time I was taking 600 mg. 3 times a day. Now I'm taking 300 mg. once a day. Am having a laminectomy on May 1. Hoping that will help. Still concerned about ...

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Will dicuss with my husband. Hope he will be open-minded. If you would be so kind as to send me a PM laying out the details of the study. I know my husband will have lots of questions and want to be prepared to answer them. Thanks so much. I am interested.

Re: wheelchair kamikaze's latest posts

How ridiculous. If one needs a good laugh this qualifies. But MS is no laughing matter. How about some real research that may provide real answers. It's hard not to double over laughing. Amazing how research dollars are spent.

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Thanks Dr. Flanagan for the offer but since I have a husband that runs his own business, I think travel might not be realistic due to the time required. Maybe if it's just a one time deal it may be a posibility and I could arrange it to fit with his schedule it may work. Is having MS an exclusionary...

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Since MRIs show no evidence of chiari and both my daughter and I had postpartum optic neuritis and I had 14 asymptomatic years after the initial episode of optic neuritis (blurred vision)just wondering if tethered cord is a possibility and can that also be an inherited condition? Never had RR MS and...

Re: Are your hands and/or feet cold?

Sorry but I have limited time on the computer so may respond to some posts late. MUNCHIN mentioned core and hands warm up when she lies down. Same thing with me. Cold hands and feet in an upright position. Others?

Re: Are your hands and/or feet cold?

Struggle with cold hands cold feet when I'm sitting or standing holding onto somthing of course. I do have MS and have had CCSVI treatment. I wanted to ask if anyone else had speaking difficulties, not slurring of speech which cleared up after CCSVI treatment but just have a hard time talking (horse...

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

I've read your post Dr. Flanagan. I think I have so many of the symptoms of chiari but since there is no MRI evidence of it I guess that's where we are. I thought the upright MRI might show something. I think it would be a good idea to get my atlas back to it's correct posiition. I'm geting a reputa...

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

I've had MRIs of my cervical, thoracic, and lumbr regions of the spine. Cervical showed a herniated disc at the C4-C5 level (I think) lumbar a bulging disc at the L4-L5 some areas of spinal stenosis in both the lumbar and cervical spine, some spondylosis and bone spurs. Local neurolosurgeon would tr...

Re: How are you doing since treatment??

EJC would you be so kind as to share Emma's improvements since being treated by doctor Amir. You might have already done this and I may have missed it. I have pretty significant problems related to my MS and some other problems (spinal stenosis) but practioners only see me as someone with MS and so ...

Re: How are you doing since treatment??

Thanks for asking Magoo about how everyone is. I had improvements in fatigue and night time trips to the bathroom. Balance did not seem to improve but blood and is still a problem. I don't know if that may be due to spinal stenosis in lumbar and cervical spine regions. Trying to get someone to look ...
