I will have some reports to list later which I think will prove very interesting to fellow progressive's who have had trauma.
The treating doctor wishes to remain unnamed until after my treatment is complete. It involves something I have never seen before in MS reports.
There is hope!

Re: FDA Shutting Down CCSVI Research
Perhaps this will force the IR's who want to continue treating CCSVI to move their operations out of the USA? To India? Mexico?

Re: DrSclafani answers some questions
This is something I have been wondering about: is it possible to utilize collateral veins as a substitute IJV? There have been some cases of people with congenital deformed, or severely undersized, IJV's which might not respond to having them dilated. Also, some patients have severely scarred IJV wh...

Re: Long time lurker...my journey begins Tuesday

Malformed valve that is elongated in the left and not closing but just flapping in the breeze. I am on th...

Re: Long time lurker...my journey begins Tuesday
Dr. Sclafani has said that when Medicare disallowed the procedure last year, AAC had to pay back everything they were paid by Medicare. AAC chose not to go after the patients for repayment. psst Donnchadh is a guy and not a Donna... :) The Medicare Explanation of Benefits letter specifically stated...

Re: Long time lurker...my journey begins Tuesday
Medicare has determined that CCSVI venoplasty is "experimental" and will not pay for the procedure. This also effects many private medical insurance policies because they often often Medicare's lead on what's covered. If this spreads throughout the medical insurance industry, then treatme...

Re: Long time lurker...my journey begins Tuesday
I thought it was fairly basic demand and supply... At first there was pent-up demand and no openly available clinic doing the procedures. Then one clinic became openly available (Dr. Siskin) followed by another (Dr. Hubbard's) and then many more (Synergy, VAC, American Access Care, HCMC, etc, etc.)...
