I did not go secretly, i just did not have the time to post it. I sneaked in and took the opportunity when Dr S mentionned on his tread that he was slowed by the insurance companies. Being Canadian I pay cash. I got the OK from Holly Saturday at 16h30 and was on his table Monday morning! Happy Valen...

The hardest thing with this dam disease for me is that my son has never know me healthy. 15 min before the school bus arrives I get up, get dress, put some eyeliner and a smile. I feel guilty that he did not get the childhood he could have had... Mondays are the hardness because during the weekend i...

Yep, after stenting I was put on Lovenox and Coumadin. The day after the procedure the ultrasound showed the thrombosis. I had another veno right away to break it down and put meds directly at the site.

LR, I bought the Clexane in Poland, I have no idea if it is the same as Lovenox. Lovenox dosage 60mg. Personnally blood thinners and anti-coagulants did not improve the way i feel, quite the contrary. When I stop the Clexane in the spring I felt much better. I had a Jello brain while on it. I am sti...

htrib, Not getting back the improvements from Poland IS one of my big question?!!? I had 4 venos from the same IR but 2 of those were to correct complications; 1st one was to open up the stent this led to my jug collapsing, 2nd stented to keep jug open, day after thrombosis hence another veno. They ...

Cheerleader, I agree. From my experiences the improvements never lasted. What about the high pressure of hyperbaric chamber on vein previously treated by angioplasty? Does it increases the potential of vein collapsing? Some people questionned the pressure during the flight back home after treatment ...

Good timing for this tread! I just learned that I may have to endure another round of hyperbaric chamber (35 -45) treatments. My 1st reaction was NO! This would be my 4th round in 12 years and it is not much fun at all: 2hrs drive, 1 hr preparation, 1/2hr "going down" to the right pressure...

when they prescribe coumadin they give you Lovenox for a week just until the INR testing is controlled between 2-3. They kept increasing the coumadin dosage but my INR never stabilised higher than 2 for two consecutive tests. This is why this time they didn't bother with it and put me on lovenox and...

I was regular every 29 days before procedure in Poland. I started bleeding the day I began Plavix and it lasted 65 days - quite heavy. I have not have another period since then even though I am on blood thinner since April 25 Clexane (14 days) + Plavix until Sept Coumadin and Lovenox for 11 weeks (n...
