Re: Cholesterol Repairs Damaged Brains

Ah geeze! Here we go with the rodent studies again! Time for me to tell this story again: Many years ago researchers announced they were able to grow new fur on bald rats. Of course that gave me hope that they would soon have a way to grow new hair on my balding head. Well it's been at least 20 yea...

Re: DrSclafani answers some questions

Interesting case. I have always wondered about the flow changes in areas of the brain from improving flow that is commonly used when one is lying down. The white and grey matter lesions within the brain are still not interrelated with flow issues found by IVUS for example. In my example I have 16mm...

Re: happy canada day

Getting married on Canada day ensured a number of things:

1. Managed to annoy our wedding guests
2. It makes me have ZERO excuses for forgetting it
3. We get a holiday every year to celebrate with two kinds of fireworks ;)

Happy Canada day!

Re: Those with positive results face significant challenges

Have you seen your neuro yet? Make sure to see him with your improvements. I have had 3 treatments with the last by Dr Sclafani, with no measurable benefits from any of them. So, when I saw my neuro he was very clear to point out that he has had a few patients have a CCSVI treatment with no benefit...

Re: Those with positive results face significant challenges

Do you mind if I ask how long you were limping before? I am just assumed that I must have nerve damage by now because it has been so long. Initially I had an intermittent limp starting almost 6 years ago, but now it has been a pretty steady gait disturbance for about 2 years. Sure. After a couple o...

Re: CHRISTINE'S EXPERIENCE

Cece you will have to wait. There is 1 patient that was done 5 or 6 months ago and she is doing fantastic. I doubt she will come forward for fear of being attacked. All the other patients have had their surgery in the last 4 months or less. People are very hesitant to become public. They have seen ...

Re: CIHR internal memos

I'm still gagging over this quote:
"Groetzinger praised the process: CCSVI research in Canada is moving at “lightning speed.”"

What planet is this person on? I'm speechless..

Also, 1eye, I just posted the image tongue in cheek. Obviously if you want credibility, the Neuro bashing would be a bad idea. :)

Re: Canada petition

I am not signing this petition. I believe 100% that CCSVI is real and restricted blood flow is causing many if not all our symptoms. Having under gone multiple angioplasties that led to the death of my jugulars which in turn made my condition worse than before. Many others are now worse after angio...

Re: Canada petition

Hello again. :-D This petition needs a good image. If you have a URL to one, that would be good. If you can't do that, PM me a request, and I will send an email address for you to send it to directly. I will shrink it to the expected size (150 by 300 pixels). If you do have it at an URL, tell it to...

Re: Those with positive results face significant challenges

Tilt asked me these questions less than a month after treatment. I advised him against flying because i do not think one month is sufficient to see how svi will progress, although tilt is on the far end of the curve in terms of response. We need to be cautious as we gloriously ask these new wonderf...

Those with positive results face significant challenges

Well the last couple of months have been interesting, to say the least. To suggest I got anything other than my 'old' life back completely wouldn't be true. Yet this outcome has significant challenges. For example, I have been wanting to get my pilots license. That dream got shelved a decade ago wit...
