Good morning Hunter I dont have any.... I went to the Dr's about my migraines I had been getting since childhood. He decided to be thorough and send me for an MRI. I was then told I had MS. My neuro said migraines have nothing to do with MS. So I am still not sure what is causing them. So if I hadn'...

Questions about blood work

Hi everyone I got a call from my Dr today, he doesn't want me to wait until the 20th for my blood tests, he wants me to starve myself after 9pm tonight and have it done in the morning. I am so thankful for such a great Dr. He asked me what bloods I wanted to run, so I gave him the list and e-mailed ...

I got acall today from Copaxone

Hi everyone I got a call this evening from Copaxone, confirming my address etc to send my meds and arrange for a nurse to come out. I must admit, I felt a wave of panic come over me as I am not ready to take this route yet. I want to wait until all the rest of the tests have been done and I have my ...

Question About Blood Work

Good morning everyone I am going to have a full blood panel run to see where the various levels are in my body. Is there a better time to have bloods run ie: morning or afternoon? Will my blood levels show different results in the morning as opposed to the afternoon? On a whole different subject, we...

Recently Diagnosed - Still unsure which route to take

Jimmylegs, until you mentioned to me CCSVI, I had never heard of this so I just wanted to thank you for providing me with more topics to research and try and understand and allow me to make my own conclusions on the subject without any persuasions either way. Everyone's journey with MS is different ...

Recently Diagnosed - Unsure which way to go

Lyon Thank you for you reply. It was certainly a very nice "welcome to our site" message from you. I feel so much better now. Firstly, I am very well aware of what I need to do. But, just because my Dr has an MD after his name, does not mean he is an expert in MS. For me, those with MS are...

Recently Diagnosed - Still unsure which route to take

Thank you jimmylegs. I am definitely going to get my bloods run and see where I sit first before I make any changes/decisions. I hadn't thought of running bloods, I guess because my neurologist didn't mention it, but it was good advice. I looked at who takes what supplements and what the experts for...

Recently Diagnosed - Still unsure which route to take

Thank you everyone for your comments. I now have appointments set up to test the muscle function and nerve function in my torso and another round of MRI's but this time it's different, than the standard MRI they did. The first specialist I saw was not at all helpful but this new specialist, I like h...
