Re: Coronavirus (COVID-19): What You Need To Know
Legs: Thank you for continuing to work on this. I guess if we're distancing and staying at home we may have time to read and look at videos, so I offer this one, in case you are in the youtube rabbit-hole anyway (I am): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWzbArPgo-o Things I learned: COVID might be tra...

Re: Coronavirus (COVID-19): What You Need To Know
Thank you, legs, and thank you Toronto Mayor and Medical Officer of Health. I think a fine is not enough. I think hospitals should consult a list of fools and refuse to treat those who consistently refuse to distance. I know people cannot help being fools, but they have to learn, for the sake of the...

Re: Coronavirus (COVID-19): What You Need To Know
If you do not have an approved mask or face shield, you can try to make one. It will not protect your eyes. If you use a cloth mask of your own devising, remember that if you soak it in soapy water, and then dry it, the soap residue can still deactivate covid19 if a droplet lands on it. The moisture...

Re: Coronavirus (COVID-19): What You Need To Know
1. You should not have to go out and buy stuff. You probably have soap. 2. I am not a doctor. I don't know what works, except soap. 3. My video will work if you are patient. It has blank spots but if you just wait, it will soon start. 4. Don't just use nasal spray decongestants that just dry you out...

Re: Coronavirus (COVID-19): What You Need To Know
Dear legs: Distancing and isolation are not always possible. The virus spreads from contact with people who have no symptoms. My former PSW, my sister-in-law who is a nurse, and my MS friend who also has juvenile diabetes for the last 50 years, and works as a receptionist in an old-age nursing home,...

Re: video to deactivate coronavirus using soap
I want to say in this possibly unread and useless forum, that if it comes to the point where I am likely to die of covid-19 if no other action is taken, I want dilute, soapy water to be put into my lungs. Of course, using gravity and followed by a flush with distilled water, via a tube, under anaest...

Re: video to deactivate coronavirus using soap
BTW people who believe their browsers when they tell them this is a dangerous site that they should not read, may never again read a single word this site has on it. Isn't that great? The forces of darkness win again.

Re: video to deactivate coronavirus using soap
I've said as you may or may not have read, I am not a doctor. If you are one, it may be about time you let others know. I am thinking I may know how Dr. Semmelweis felt. People may be afraid of soap. But distilled water? I suppose it was the fact that it was NOT distilled, that allowed people to liv...

Re: video to deactivate coronavirus using soap
Another thing: masks can be made of silk or other cloth, that is soaked in soap. Even after it dries, the soap residue will protect. Droplets containing viri will deactivate when they hit the soap. I found a ski mask that has a soft foam rubber surround. It doesn't press very hard on your face. The ...

Re: video to deactivate coronavirus using soap
Nay sayers will say it gets in your cells and soap won't touch it. No, it uses parts of cells to construct more copies of itself. That's how it spreads. But it infects mucus and that's one medium it travels in. One sniffle could kill you if it reaches your lungs. What I do in the shower works for an...

video to deactivate coronavirus using soap
This works for the common cold, which is also a coronavirus. As with a cold, the sooner after symptoms start, the better.
