Re: more of the same

I am sure 1 eye is working hard to locate something in the study that calls it into question. If all else fails it can always be blamed on a neurologist! After reading specifics of the study I think there were some minor flaws but overall it appears to have been ran in an objective manner.

Re: Just learned my husband has MS

I suggest starting LDN immediately and get yourself diagnosed for ccsvi. it is real,u will be amazed JL I was just about to agree with you! It just seems like it would be overwhelming for someone newly diagnosed to come onto this board looking for information because there are so many differing opi...

Re: Just learned my husband has MS

Please be careful with the information you receive via internet MS sites. While you generally may receive a lot of advice from many people who believe MS is caused by this or that the viewpoints you may find are often anecdotal and not backed up by a whole lot of scientific research. Welcome to TIMS...

More Negative Results for Vein Blockage in MS

I am not sure if this study has been posted yet: Specifically, what he and his colleagues found was that, of 206 patients with some form of MS, only eight met Zamboni's criteria for CCSVI, whereas these criteria were met by five of 59 patients with other neurological diseases, including stroke. http...

Re: Changing diet - Beneficial or Not??

I believe that no matter if you have MS or not a good diet will improve your energy levels and increase your overall well being. Whether it has any effect at all on MS is open for debate but personally I have not seen any convincing evidence yet that shows eating a healthy diet slows down the progre...

Re: "Discovery could halt MS progression"

Great find Squiffy!! It seems like scientists are looking at how blocking a number of different proteins may either slow down or halt the progression of MS. Although to read once again that it may take ten years for this discovery to translate into some type of therapeutic treatment is frustrating a...

Mr. Embry's statement

I am just wondering if it is ok to post stuff like this. Mr. Embry in the Tysarbi thread: I always find it incredible that many people recently diagnosed with MS will choose a potentially deadly drug over nutritional strategies that are completely safe and likely more effective. Luckily there are st...
