sofia,

I am sorry to hear this, but I hope you will find some answers soon. Can you email or telephone the doctor who treated you? Maybe you could get scans done locally and send them to this doctor for examination.

Please let us know how it goes,

I am heading to Dr. Mandato for July 7 treatment! The countdown is killing me. jay123 -- thank you for opening up this clinic to treating CCSVI! We are going to stay at La Quinta near the clinic. Any locals with ideas for the clinic itself or for things to do nearby while we wait a few days afterwar...

Chrystal, Did they not think we would notice their editing? Or maybe they think our memories are faulty? We have so much discourse around the Q&A when it happened that we know they cannot change history. Boy, this sure smacks of re-writing textbooks (former classroom teacher here). Do you mind i...

You got it -- there's a hide-a-bed in the living room of the place we rented.

Unfortunately, there's also a wireless internet connection...

It does take courage for a doctor to do this. I witnessed the wrath of the establishment when the hospital in BC stopped a doctor from doing more treatments. We have collected 100s of names and email addresses of people to offer this doctor a show of support for this courage. I am shocked this hospi...

Re: From eastern Canada

Hey Happy_Canuck, you really think that it will be available this summer in BC? Honestly, I dont' think that's going to be available until one to two years in Canada. I just read the memo from the neurologist association of Quebec and they clearly state that this CCSVI theory is far to be proven an...

Hi Niceflow, That is quite the dilemma. Which clinic in Europe would be a consideration -- check their track record for sure. If you have good doctor support here at home for the trip, i.e., they know you're going and are prepared to deal with followup care, that would be a benefit. I know they HAVE...

Hi there,

Bill didn't have a stent placed, just angioplasty. The stenosis was quite stubborn and had to be ballooned several times.

Remarkably, Bill was SPMS since 2007 and now calls himself RPMS -- regressive progressive MS! A new category!

Great topic! I am definitely taking better care of myself. These are the steps I have taken: - inclined the bed 5 degrees - eating MUCH better - lost about 8-9 pounds; another 8-9 to go! - doing my physio more regularly - trying to swim (gone twice in a month), but headed to Hawaii this week for a h...

We are moving on this in other channels -- if you want to be kept informed, send me your name and email address and I'll add you to the mailing. A PM here would be good or through Facebook.

This is one doctor and one hospital -- have faith, things will move again soon.

Hi Sandra, I called the False Creek clinic today, and told the lady who is in charge of this project, I am interested in the tests and eventually the procedure. She asked me for my email, and she said she will send me the information related to that. Still this evening I haven't got anything yet in...
