Nice of you to delete happypoets PM to me that I included in my last post.

here is the message she sent me - does it really have to be deleted or can others see the politics that go on behind the scenes here?

That is baloney. REREAD MY POSTS YOU DELETED I did not say anything bad about the poster And since you have finally decided to actually moderate this forum by picking on my posts, why would you leave the posts where the poster accuse the guy of not taking care of his mother? Thats below the belt, im...

Censorship on this forum????

This thread will probably be deleted, but what is going on with censorship on this forum? I posted a few replies to Concerned's thread about ethical treatment, where I basically told him he should concentrate more on finding a treatment acceptable to him for his mother instead of spending his time b...

and I bet that $5000 that Dr. Dake received from them really sways his opinion. I'll bet he's only making at a minimum $500,000 - that $5 grand would make a big difference!

and thats a ridiculous comment about stent companies. Don't you think a surgeon makes enough just doing procedures? To think that they would put one in to get a kickback is insulting. My experience was that Dr. Siskin put absolutely no pressure on having a stent, wuith me it was a question do you wa...

If Dr. Siskin recommends it you trust him and you go for it! He has placed stents in many patients before CCSVI and knows the risks. Also Dr. Dake's patients are all doing great (as far as the stents) with many having them placed for over a year. By taking the proper meds after the procedure everyth...

Asked my nuero to prescribe it for me at last month's appt. She hadn't heard of it and consulted another who did an Ampyra trial - he hadn't heard of it either...(she had no hang-ups whatsoever about trying 4-AP or LDN) So either it's the same as Ampyra and these guys just aren't aware or I just du...

It's called 'ampyra'. It costs $1,000's per month (before co-pays) compared to $90 for compounded 4-ap, but it is a slow release version. I have been on it a few days and my legs do feel a little better. My doctor (who is a ccsvi believer) put me on this but is hoping to get me in the 'anti-lingo' t...

You really need to do more research on CCSVI. The stents are placed in veins for CCSVI, not arteries as the other stents you mention have been placed before.

Gary is always improving, he didn't do the follow-up ultrasounds when I was there.
The first time I got the $129 rate, my second visit the best rate was $179 (I think it was graduation week) which is when we booked a western ave hotel.

If you get a good price the Hilton garden Inn is located right across the street and connects to the hospital with a walkway. There are other hotels 5-10 mins away on Western Avenue which are a lot cheaper. Parking is validated at the hospital. I'm sure there is stuff to see in Albany, but we just w...

If Dr. Siskin says he is keeping a list i n order of contact, he is just be patient. As I read all these posts from people all over the world, remember don't give up on getting local IR's involved. Dr. Siskin got involved through emails I sent him with links to this forum and Facebook. Now that he i...

They are treating people there, they are excellent! I have had both angio and then a stent placed by them.

In addition to this they are GETTING IRB REVIEW FOR SOME FORMAL STUDIES.
