Same Neuro for me, I asked him for a referral to an IR. He wants to wait for the studies. His quote to me "If the studies come back and proove this is helpful to MS Patients I will be the first to give referrals." He said he has seen to many patients hurt by chasing possible dreams, my re...

I wonder what the doctors at Georgetown would say if they knew that woman was giving out that type of false information. I would have gotten her name and asked to speak to someone above her.

I started taking 4.5mg of LDN after angioplasty, I seem to have increased spasticity at night with my arms and legs shacking and in the morning i still have the feeling in my legs, impairing walking and the highly improved balance. My vision is dramatically worse, with the difficulty of making test...

Good thing I wasn't there. I would have jumped up and interrupted him. He doesn't deserve to have M.D. after his name.

Re: Well said, eric593

His condition has, recently, started to rapidly deteriorate. Are you having any luck in finding someone to treat him? This is the sort of situation where, yeah, the risks of the procedure are really low compared to the risks of waiting. I'm doing some research on the powers and limitations of IRB's...

In Jen's defense, her post was almost two months ago. lol I didn't notice that!! So if the world did not end in the last two months, perhaps this one can slide? :) I understand everyone's concern. The stakes are getting higher. But the situation has changed greatly since Jen wrote her post a...

In Jen's defense, her post was almost two months ago. I completely understand the need and reason for privacy. But maybe it would be better to explain that to someone calmly.....and maybe in a private message. I also understand the passionate feelings involved. But it will not serve anyone if people...

Re: Well said, eric593

I strongly disagree with this paper's position. There are a lot more positions than the two starkly opposing possibilities that Embry presents. Secondly, I personally take a middle position of believing that we need preliminary objective research done to assess SOME level of effectiveness of the pr...

We are already at a point where anyone will be hard pressed to argue against the fact that many?, most?, almost all? people with MS also have CCSVI. What the causal relationship exists between them is purely of academic, not clinical, relevance We might drive that home by paying to have the four pe...

I've spoken to two interventional radiologists who want to do the testing and perform the procedure and they both said they can't because of their IRB's. shoot that makes a lot of sense...that the prerequisite of IRB approval is itself so much trouble that IRs would shy away from this...I hadn't th...

And then why are IRB's getting involved and preventing treatment for this if it's as straightforward as that? I have not yet heard of an IRB preventing treatment...have any, so far? As far as I know it has only been delays as studies go through the process of obtaining IRB approval...and Georgetown...

Please send me a personal message with any questions you may wish to ask. Regards Andy :) It's been some time since you started LDN....
