Re: Reversing Endothelial Dysfunction
Polyphenols, the most abundant anti-oxidants which are found in plants reduce oxidative stress and maintain endothelial health. A shift in the functions of the endothelium towards vasoconstriction, proinflammatory and prothrombic states characterise improper functioning of these cells, leading to en...

Re: Diet that mimics fasting may reduce MS symptoms
Calorie restriction/fasting also increases nitric oxide bioavailability, decreases oxidative stress and heals the endothelium. Important, as the endothelium is the interface between our immune and vascular systems. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2894368/ http://circres.ahajournals.org/c...

I saw Mark's doctor at ISNVD a couple years ago in San Francisco. Was not able to attend ISNVD in NYC this year, too busy traveling, so I missed out on all the fun! Dr. Owiesy's poster and info should be made available on the ISNVD site soon, as he is now a member http://www.isnvd.org He is using a ...

Re: Over the counter antihistamine may stimulate myelin repa
Thanks so much, Brett! Apologies for misunderstanding. Forgive me! I thought that when you said you were going to talk to Dr. Green about the antihistamine presentation, that you were attending AAN. But I'd still love to know whether he believes his financial disclosure as a stock holder in the remy...

Myelin repair??? This is nothing but market hype and supposition. Here's the PR release from Vancouver, BC http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/over-the-counter-drug-may-reverse-chronic-vision-damage-caused-by-multiple-sclerosis-300250376.html During the study, delays were reduced by an average o...

The history of hypoperfusion, or slowed blood flow through the brains of people with MS, has a long history, going back at least 60 years. Glad to see it is still be studied with new technologies. Would be happier if researchers might also explore an understanding as to why. http://ccsviinms.blogspo...
