A few updates on Biotin: Skip's Pharmacy - Florida is now shipping Biotin in 100 mg capsules http://www.skipspharmacy.com/ MedDay has shared the supplier they used in the trial (MD1003=Biotin). Oh, and full study has not been published for the Phase all only for the small 23 patient pilot study

Hi Cure, The dosage in the Phase lll trial was a range of 100mg - 300 mg per day. Tablets were 100 mg. They were not time released. Biotin used was pharmaceutical grade which is not found in most OTC low dose Biotin. We should know a little more when MedDay reports in June at the European Academy of...

Cerebrospinal fluid levels of biotin in various neurological disorders

A study abstract from 1999 showing low levels of Biotin in the csf of people with MS.

Skip Lenz (Skips Pharmacy -Florida) a reputable compounding pharmacy used by many MSErs to get their LDN, has just notified that he has located a source for the same Biotin used in the trial. Skip will be running assay tests on his shipment and then will report back. Stay tuned :-)
