Hi Cece, That is an interesting question & interesting responses that you have rec'd. I'm kind of getting ramped up for my procedure & have been considering adding to my supplement regime, based on the suggestions of several. Dr. Bill Code has a list of recommendations related to CCSVI treat...

Hi Kathleen, Welcome to the site. I have not participated in a clinical trial although I was interested in doing so in the very beginning. When I asked my doctor about that prospect, he almost cautioned me against trying to participate in a trial. His reasoning was that he wanted me to start some ki...

I had this once during a relapse, but it went away when the relapse ended - thankfully. As lovebug said, it is referred to as the 'MS hug' and I think it is a pretty typical symptom...?? Hope you get relief from it....

One thought I had concerning the spots (and whether they blanch when pressed on) -- my hubby, who doesn't have MS or EDS (he thinks he has "perfect genes" ha) had an episode of sudden onset of these spots. Before they appeared, his joints became stiff and I rushed him to the emergency roo...

jackiejay, I was actually trying to defend the Barrie team, as I know where their training came from, not question their validity/quality. Sorry if you got a different impression.... Definitely lots to learn - especially what my results are! LOL

my son's doppler ultrasound took at the most 20 minutes.....is that normally the amount of time needed to do this exam? Jackiejay, The Zamboni protocol is approximately 2 hours with the patient in both the supine & seated position. The exam evaluates the full internal jugular, valve, deep cereb...

Re: just a suggestion....

Have you been tested? Our plan is, when we are ready, she gets tested ONLY. We will wait for the test results and THEN decide what to do next. Every day, the IR's treat yet another brave pioneer and they learn a little more, refine the technique a little better. Some may even find new ways to reduc...

I agree with the suggestion of the Neti pot. I actually prefer the squeeze bottle (marketed by the same mfg.) I have had seasonal allergies for years, but remarkably have had 2 great sinusitis free winters & last summer was free of allergy problems as well. In the past I could not get thru a spr...

Hi Jerry, I think I can relate to your comments, a little! I was dx'd in 2005, started Copaxone in 2006 have remained on Copaxone. We made a household move in 2007, within the province of Alberta. The move took us from a more northern part of the province that is quite often very rainy & usually...

NOPE! Have you? I'm sorry this thread seems suspicious to me. Can you elaborate some? My wife Trish SMPS was liberated 24 Sept. Received 2 stents which clotted and have since cleared as she has flow, per Barrie vascular. Since she got off the table can not control her legs, can not turn over in bed...

Bob, I'm so sorry to hear about Trish's change for the worse & I'm sorry you have been unfairly questioned. It is obvious by your previous posts that you are a legitimate caregiver & as a pwMS, I can say that you caregivers are a blessing - I have a wonderful & supportive husband as well...

Vivianne, I think they can be purchased at WalMart. My son has found some at Home Sense in Canada as well. They are really good to take for traveling as well. I miss my inclined bed if I'm away from home! We have used those aluminum jack stands (automotive) as well at my son's house. One has to be i...
