Re: Dad has MS
I am sorry to hear about your father. I know the diagnosis sucks. In my case, the diagnosis seemed to have a more emotional impact on my other half. But, she is a CCU nurse and has observational bias. She typically sees worse case scenarios for most medical conditions. That being said, the diagnosis...

Re: Fun reading list.
Larry Correia has another one called "Tom Stranger, Interdimensional Insurance Agent" narrated by Adam Baldwin. It is only on audible or on his website http://monsterhunternation.com. I find it hysterical.

Re: Quote of the day
Paradoxically, the man who has failed and one who is at the peak of success are in exactly the same position. Each must decide what he will do next, choose the course that will lead him to the future.

We will wait and see. I am not sure if they plan to start human trials in 2020, or to have an approved treatment in 2020.

Re: Need advice on telling others
When I found out it was because I thought I had a pinched nerve or something. The Doctor kept running tests for different things and they were ruled out. My other half was part of this process. I did not tell my mother. I waited until I had a diagnosis. When I told her I began by telling her that I ...

Re: Fun reading list.
I have forgotten what it is like to read for fun as all I seem to do is research... I will check those out, thanks! Any favorite titles you would like to share? Start with Larry Correia's Grimnoir series. 3 novels and 2 short stories. Hard Magic is the first one. For Jim Butcher, start with the Dre...

Re: Relationship advice
I feel like just as a friend I want to be there for him. Am I supposed to move on and forget about him and how he's doing? This is where you have to decide whether you can be friends with an ex. You will never forget about him and always wonder how he is doing. You need to decide whether the relati...

Re: Relationship advice
Thank you everybody who took their time to respond. Believe it or not I have tried breaking it off with him many times. However the immense guilt I felt for leaving him just because of his condition was unbearable. I couldn't forgive myself and don't think I would be deserving of moving on and bein...

My infusions gave me bad heartburn and only 4 hours of sleep for 3 or 4 nights. I did not feel tired, but at the same energy level.

Re: Relationship advice
I apologize for being blunt in advance. Follow your gut. Your gut is warning you because your subconscious is picking up on something you conscious is not. Don't worry it is totally human primitive survival technique. If he is as into you as you are into him, he should not be having another casual f...
