Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Hello Dr. F. I have not been on here much lately. I recently purchased your book from amazon.com but have not started it yet. I don't believe I have asked you this question yet, but would my sympathectomy that was done 30+ years ago be similar at all to what you refer to as trauma? The way the surge...

Re: AtlasBalance (jaw misalignment) Dr M Amir - Putney Londo

My jaw clicks like crazy also. Some mornings when I wake up, it takes me several tries before I can open my mouth all the way. I have been seeing an atlas adjuster for about a year now. (a chiropracter that specializes in adusting how your head rests on your c-spine) I have noticed some improvements...

Very interesting. That is what we were given in Bulgaria. 8O
I haven't heard of any complications from anyone I met while there.

Re: Is Chiropractic treatment beneficial for CCSVI?

I have had the procedure and have re-stenosed.
I have been seeing an upper cervical chiro for about 9 months now and it seemed to help especially in the beginning. I continue to go about 1 time every 3 or 4 weeks now. It seemed to help with my balance issues. Now they are just slight balance issues.

Yes, it is the heartbeat that I am hearing. It is quite annoying. I hear alot about people who have ms that also have tinnitus, but I don't hear too often that they also have pulsatile tinnitus. I do have ccsvi, I had the procedure in Bulgaria last summer and the tinnitus seemed to be a little quiet...

Mine is pretty much all the time. I also have pulsatile tinnitus in my left ear when I lay on my right side. I recently purchased a little cheap fan that helps knock out the sound completely when I am trying to sleep.
The tinnitus however is with me throughout the day.

Hi DrDiana, My first symptom was nystagmus 30+years ago that resolved within a few days. I now have deep sharp eye pain upon movement of the eyes several days out of the week. (lots of migraines) My right eye gets blurry quite often. (like when you have film in the eye but you really don't) Fast mov...

Hello Dr F. I believe it was a couple months back I read where you were suggesting one of tims members to do a LDN flush? I think it was on your thread and am curious. I have been wanting to give it a break lately and didn't know if it was a big deal to start and then stop and then start again. I ha...

I don't know what mine would be referred to. When I would wake up in the night, my right side of the face (espicially around the eye) would be "slow" to wake up. My right eye would remain closed when the rest of me would be awake and it would take about a minute for the feeling to come bac...

WeWillBeatms, Sorry for the delay in replying to your question. When I received the call they didn't specify, but I am of the opinion that it is all branches of BC/BS. Mine is Anthem BC/BS and the info they referred to when speaking with me was BC/BS in general. I did get an e-mail from Dr. S's offi...

I have Anthem which is Indiana's version of BC/BS. I've not found out anything yet from them but will post when I do have news. I was going to see Dr. S. the first week in August but now have research to do. I had the us and consult with him in March and all that was covered but I guess the trouble ...

I actually happen to be one of the few that does not have the ms label. I have had the procedure and have re-stenosed and looking forward to Dr. Sclafani doing my next procedure. The Drs. can't seem to find what my problem is. I think I will try and fight this one. Like I have been told though, even...

For Anybody who has Blue Cross, Blue Shield

I got a call earlier today from American Access Care (where I am due to have my second procedure this fall) and they wanted to notify me that Blue Cross Blue Shield has pulled out from covering the procedure because it is experimental. Hopefully this doesn't involve too many of us. :(
