I had Hicy w/o any stem cell reintro because your bone marrow already has stem cells. Those alone can rebuild everything w/o needing your own cells. I have no clue why they use stem cells. Neither did my docs at JH. I had one little lesion post treatment, the smallest I ever had, it healed, and I ha...

Cheer give up! Just leave the conversation. Leave the frustration to those who want or need it. Glad Jeff is still doing good!

I take Gaba every night, 1 pill, and it seems to work the whole next day. The one thing the HiCy never fixed was the feeling that may feet were always cold even when they were warm. I have no issues now.

I take Gaba because there it's a generic and it's much, much cheaper than Lyrica.

Same thing as you guys. I had a ton of improvements for 6-9 months but then the spasticity came back. I feel great otherwise though. In fact, some things still continue to get better. I can move my right foot again for instance.

Do it, I would do it again.

I think that as the body purges the body of the access Iron it would stand to reason there would be fluctuation. I would think as Iron dislodges from one place it would make you feel better, but then when it lodges somewhere else on its way out you would have a step back. I think the brain learns so...

You have got to quit smoking. There are huge studies showing people who smoke have a faster progression of disease so if you are smoking you are literally playing Russian roulette.

It was the hardest things I ever had to do because I loved my job. One thing you need to remember is this is your disease and your decision. Not your doctors either. Do you need assisted living? SSDI will take about three months if you go to an occupational therapist who specializes in Disability As...

One of those doctors is my doc. I sent him the Putnam studies and he became instantly more interested. I don't think it is bad to have my doc on this board because he is actually a neuro who has some weight and is actually interested.

I had Dr. Bowling. Worthless. Would spend 150 dollars to have him wiggle his finger in the air, tap a tuning fork, tell me anything I wanted to try he wouldn't be willing to RX, say the active lesions on my MRI were "no big deal", then send me on my way until the next years appointment. If...

MS saved my life. I was a huge party goer and didn't really empathize with anyone. I have often said God was nice enough to humble me so I could truly appreciate how precious life, and other people are.

I hate MS but not the lessons it taught me.
