Looking for Feedback on CCSVI Friendly Regime

Hi All, I'm 27 and had my first attack in October '08, and modified my diet a month later. I've since had my second attack in May that I'm almost over. I'm set to start Copaxone next week. I've got roughly a dozen lesions in my brain and I believe 1-2 on my spine. Originally I have been trying to fo...

Do you sweat? If you did not sweat before the CCSVI intervention, do you now?

Thanks. I do not sweat, so I am curious.
Sharon has shared that she previously did not, but now does sweat: http://www.thisisms.com/ftopicp-59819-sweat.html#59786

I just spoke with the research department at Jocobs Buffalo Neurologial Institute in NY and they are doing a 1000 person study of MS patients for CCSVI. It is not interventional but there is no charge to participate and get the needed tests. ...snip... Is there any chance of them letting a Canadian...

I'm been searching around but haven't been able to find much information... I know vasodilation is supposed to release heat from the body, but does it work inversely as well? ie. If you cool down your body by other means (air conditioning, fans, etc) does that cause vasodilation? And vice-versa as w...

...snip... but as you can see, Marie and I are thrilled to have so many medical journals on line for FREE! This is only in the last ten years they've been published online, so it's good timing- cheer Every time I search google for titles of medical papers, I get results wanting me to pay $20-30 for...

Thank you all so far. I've been lightly following the BBD by avoiding wheat/dairy/legumes (not so much always cutting down all fats.. can't say i'd know how to give up steaks entirely :( ), and eating more fruits and vegetables... but I believe there's lots of room for improvement. I do however miss...

Subscribing to Sub-Forums

We are able to 'watch' certain threads for new posts, but is there any way to watch an entire sub-forum for new threads?

Non-Surgical Options for CCSVI

Hi All, I'd like to get everyone's input regarding what can be done to help with CCSVI for those of us who can't get the stent placements at the moment. I've been reading that breathing exercises could be good for vasolidation, as well as b3/niacin, and possibly even LDN. Anyone more knowledgeable p...

Re: I just started at a research hospital

...snip... One other question. I have noticed people here writing about vitamin D. Is that something everybody with MS shopuld be taking or is that to fight the side effects of a study process? It seems that everyone with MS should be taking D3. My neurologist was/is running studies on vitamin D an...

Personal Genomics for Treatments?

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has purchased genome sequencing kits from 23andMe / deCODEme / Navigenics / etc. and if they've somehow helped in determining any treatments? I just received a google alert today with the following article http://www.sdnn.com/sandiego/2009-06-11/news/life-sciences-o...

Thanks for the insight, you're right she does have a strong sense of relying on scientific proof before recommending anything. I suppose I can wait some more, I just had my first attack in Oct and my first relapse a few weeks ago... just slightly anxious and hopeful for any new discoveries I read ab...
