Gadolinium drugs

Don't know if this should be put in the "risks" sticky since it's not a risk especially of angioplasty or stents, but still something to consider, I think: http://www.foxnews.com/health/2010/09/10/fda-warns-deadly-effect-imaging-drugs/ Federal health regulators are warning doctors that a c...

But probably not. Hmmm.

Hmmm. Zamboni already did the before/after Study. But perhaps it's useful to some extend if it's replicated.

Really like this text. I was looking into MS, the research and the treatment of it for about 5 years now. I was never satisfied with the outcome of the approved therapies, doesn't matter which study you look at. 4 of the 5 years this was unrelated to CCSVI, of course, but was the cause why I looked ...

Poor UK, India and Australia. Even after approving wheelchairs for the rest of the world, it'll take years to research if they're suitable for left-hand traffic.

This is great! I especially like the title of Dr. Lenihans speech - "The neurologists perspective" doesn't sound like claiming to hold the only truth - and the fact that patients talk, too. Really looks like the way it should be!

But I guess that's the point of this whole thing....questioning whether Zamboni is causing all this misinformation by NOT making the necessary information needed to replicate his findings easier to come by. Every other researcher historically has put that information in their initial study articles...

Sometimes I really feel sorry for those who do these pathetic attempts to disprove the CCSVI theory, being easily rebutted by laypersons with no other special skill than the ability to use google and read. :D

... Therefore my question/point "is it really wise to ask the guy selling the Rolex how to tell a real from a fake?" and who is REALLY to blame for follow up researchers not wanting to consult with the salesman? Lyon, I think your analogy is not exact. The exact question would be:"Is...

oh cah cah to you. Yes I know people with MS are great at educating themselves and bla bla bla but I just thought I would pass this along to anyone interested. Thanks for the response. It was a real side slapper. The only intention of my post was to make people laugh about it in order to prevent an...

Thank you scorpion for this very very important advice. I'm really glad that we have you here, otherwise we would run blindly into the huge amount of spammers and salesmen in here and would buy just anything they want us to. You know, the average TIMS user is so unfamiliar with forums and internet c...

I think the name is very inappropriate, esp. because it sounds all but scientific. To be honest, if I'd hear the phrase "liberation treatment" without any further info I'd guess it's something homeopathic (like "homeopathic drainage") or even esoteric. There's no need for a new n...

Exactly this was my idea for something between balloon and stent. I thought of something like dissolvable surgical threads. Something that sort of "trains" the vein to stay open over a period of time and removes itself afterwards.

Seems I have missed a sales opportunity

Even better is "ineinander greifen", like gearwheels do. "Intertwining" makes things going (faster), was my thought after putting it into the translator. :)
