I know the conflicts of interest from Dr. Hartung. The question is, now that this text above is published in about every german online newspaper, what can be done about that?

Would you do it again?

There were several polls here that tried to summarize the outcomes of the liberation treatments. But one question is left yet, one which sums up everything that can happen afterwards, I think. So:

Would you do it again?

Wikipedia says that the horn of a unicorn is said to help against intoxication... maybe iron intoxication, too?

But even if you got one your neuro might keep telling you that it's a horse.

They said that they will wait a month, then write an article, then have it peer reviewed and published in a scientific journal. Think we have to be patient a little longer... though it's hard. I guess they way things went when they published their initial findings via press release wasn't really wha...

There are protocols from Dr. Haacke (MRI) and Dr. Simka (doppler). But it's not all about protocols and equipment. It also needs training and experience. I always wonder how anyone can question that. I generally know how to use a knife and even have a surgical scalpel, yet I'm quite sure I coudn't d...

It's "Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (Therapy)". I think the name tells what it's all about. It's usually used for treating bones/cartilage. It's controversal, unproven and some put it in the field of homeopathy. (Yet I know another controversal, unproven treatment which is very promising ;)...

Dear Dr. Sclafani, there's a another site in germany where CCSVI diagnosis and treatment is offered, in Offenbach (very near to Frankfurt, almost like a suburb). They recently put up a website: www.ccsvi-center.de (also www.ccsvi-center.com , but the english version isn't finished yet, almost empty....

I did not know that interferon trials were so close to being only explainable by the placebo effect. One good thing about this: the bar is extremely low for what CCSVI treatment has to achieve in terms of reduction of the rate of progression, let alone actual improvements, for it to beat out everyt...
