msreilly, do you have any insight into why Dr. S and Dr H are not able to use slides to demonstrate their findings of CCSVI? Yves Savoie's response to my inquiry about this seems completely hollow. As Tim Donovan of New Hope for MS says "Seeing is believing." Why wouldn't people who claim ...

I agree completely Cece. It seems Yves Savoie and MSS want to keep minds--as well as our veins--completely closed. I'm going to copy and paste your comments and send them on to Yves. I don't expect it will change anything. Could this kind of thinking be why Dr. McDonald is not participating? Thank y...

I still think if the MS Society wants to learn, they would reconsider and allow slides. The discussion format is all well and good but Interventional Radiology is well suited to imagery/slides. Rather than being told, "Here is what I am seeing," imagery would allow them to see it too. Aft...

Thanks Cece. And thanks Dr. Duncan for being such a strong advocate. Congratulations on your re-election too Dr. D., despite the otherwise disastrous results in Canada!

Comments which Mavis made in another thread about Dr. Daniel Selchen were relatively positive, so, he might be worth checking out. Here's the thread:

Re: Its not a set-up....

Hi - long time volunteer with the MS Society here. We're doing our best - I promise!! The CCSVI working group is genuinely working towards achieving a better understanding about the current state of CCSVi from a medical, scientific and patient perspective. Information about the Working Group, who i...

In less than an hour after I sent my e-mail, Yves Savoie actually responded. I'm not happy with the reply, but here it is: Thank you for your email and for your long-time membership with the MS Society of Canada. The event you reference is to allow members of the MS Society board-appointed CCSVI Wor...

June 17th ...... plenty of time for angry MS'ers to turn up the volume and demand an open door policy ...... and allow the presenters to provide visual aids .... as we know ..... " a picture is worth a thousand words " Agreed! I'll send another e-mail to Yves Savoie--although he has ignor...

Scary stuff! Attempts to sabotage the business, which was treating patients with M.S.?!? I don't think even we thought anyone would stoop that low.javascript:emoticon('') Thank goodness no one was injured or killed. But, a bomb and grenade are bad enough without injuries. Who would be so despic...

Chrystal, I saw your post (and that of bohemianbill in another thread on this topic) for the very purposes you have stated. I don't know why someone would interpret it any differently. I'm sorry if you were subjected to criticisms for trying to make a difference with MSS. Thanks for bringing this fo...
