Re: PLEASE HELP MY FRIEND!
Hello Franck, though I speak French somewhat better than that, I think it better for other people that I write in English. I will try to write very simply. There are not very many doctors using this treatment anywhere and my husband, David Wheldon, ended up taking early retirement before he had his ...

Haha, difficult to down it and avoid your tongue!
Look up David's site for information about intermittent but after a while you can space it to suit you, if you are sure your reactions when taking flagyl have finished. apart from the taste of course: that never goes!

Re: Fluoroquinolones can cause neurological side effects
I knew about the tendon damage but not everything else. It is a good job that none of these antibiotics are part of the CAP protocol.

Re: 1st followup since dx
If you changed to intermittent protocol which I did after a year, most of the time you won't be taking doxycycline so won't have to worry about turning into a giant rash in the Florida sun!

Re: The Wheldon Protocol, Some Advice, Please...
Craig, what do you mean by the gap in tablets? You take everything every day apart from whatever imidazole you are taking, which you pulse. I guess you mean that you have started intermittent treatment? Maybe if you think you have had a relapse you started this too soon. Nobody can really know this ...

Re: The Wheldon Protocol, Some Advice, Please...
Craig, I have been unable to log on for about 8 weeks until today!
Stick with it because some people do get a relapse after what seems like a long period but they carry on and it passes. Do ask on the Cpn.dot.org site. I have never had another relapse bit that is just me.

Re: 1st followup since dx
Glad to hear that you are still going strong! The way I managed things was to take the antibiotics for just over a year then stop. I did do an intermittent protocol where I did a two week course every couple of months, for three years, but I don't really now if I needed to and neither does David, wh...

Re: The Trouble with Antibiotics
Yes, it is a pity that only a few people do that, though. Yes, it is obviously more expensive but you can just counter the extra cost by eating less of it. Looking at many people this is a good idea.............Sarah

Re: RE M.S AND LYME DISEASE
Hello Seeva, I live in the UK, not far from London and my doctor is also my husband: David Wheldon. I don't know for certain where I was tested: I think it might have been Southmead Hospital in Bristol. I responded to the treatment very quickly because my disease was very active at the time. This te...

Re: RE M.S AND LYME DISEASE
Seeva, you seem to have not quite understood what I said: I have never had lyme disease but the antibiotics for C pn are the same as for lyme because they are all broad-based abx which will work for lots of things. I thought that you had started it once, before ccsvi came along, so you obviously did...
