Re: DrSclafani answers some questions

Just a little update about the patient with a stent in the heart. Well, the stent looks patent to me even it looks like a hockeystick. The patient feels better than I do and can do much more than I can. I do not want to say that I want to live with "a hockeystick" in my heart. Her MS is no...

Re: Vitamin D And helminth questions!!

hi vq, in my xp, safe dosing depends on nutrient status. i was safe to take short term megadoses when i was zinc deficient, once i fixed the deficiency, it became dangerous to megadose. someone i know has been having trouble getting d3 levels up taking 10,000 - 20,000 IU per day. zinc levels are on...

Re: Testimonial Request

I also would like to mention how interesting are information regarding nutrition and supplements from Jimmylegs for me.
I even follow some of her recommends regarding my D3, Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc.
Next blood results tell me what to do next. I also have learned a lot.
Thanks!

and exercise is very important. We decided that weight lifting is something wich could have big effect on MS. I red some trials with doing weights with MS and results were promising. (and Terry Wahls experiment was very interesting too). Weight training is quite a stimulus to muscle/brain/nerve sys...

http://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT01425554?term=CCSVI&rank=6 Kudos to Dr. Simka! He has a trial underway, comparing diagnostic value of doppler sonography, MRV, and plethysmography. I also would like to tell him and his team: thanks, great, congratulations and I wish good luck to the tr...

Re: Erika`s procedure in Poland

CORRECTION.
I will make the story short as I am too weak and my arms are sore...

My correct Zinc result is 13,59.
I think I should take some Zinc supplement as well.

Re: DrSclafani answers some questions

Dear Dr. Sclafani! It is not my case but one patient has asked me for help. A woman got 4 stents into her jugulars. One of the stent migrated into her heart. Either they have noticed couple of months later or it was soon after the intervention. IR tried to "pull" it out but the stent is gr...

Re: Erika`s dosage

Hello Erika, I mis-understood your use of 'just in case'. You are taking Zinc to acheive a blood level of 17.9, this is not 'just in case' for me. I advise you to keep your Vit D3 at 20k IU/day as you add the Calcium and Magnesium. This means you are changing less viables at one time, which is good...

Re: Erika`s procedure in Poland

erika's zinc regimen appears to be working perfectly as is. the 'normal' range in the literature is 11.5-18.5. most ms patients sit in the low end of that range. healthy controls in multiple studies average 18.2 umol/L. erika's 17.9 is great and if her supplementation is keeping her there, that's f...

Re: Erika`s procedure in Poland

I just got my Zinc result: 17,9 ( it should be between 9,1 and 18) Well, it means my Zinc is perfect. Well, this is pretty frustrating. My vit D was only 7,09 ng/ml in March 2010. Since that time I have been taking 5000 IU of vit D daily. It is still only 22 ng/ml. As I posted last time I take 20000...

Re: Daflon 500mg tracking thread

I was on Daflon exactly 60 days - March and April 2011 (2x a day). I felt absolutely nothing so I stopped. It was original from the Pharmacy. I paid one part and my Health Insurance Company paid for the second part. But maybe it helps some patients. I do not know... Was Daflon prescribed for you by...
