Here is my attempt at a transcript. I was unable to make out what was said in several places. If anyone who has access to the original broadcast could check what I have written and correct it I would be very grateful. As anyone can see the whole programme presents very well and uncritically the nega...

I just had a look at her profile:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/insideout/southwest/presenter/
She claims to be a bookworm and then says "I adore celebrity gossip magazines" – says it all really.

I too received a reply to my complaint today and found it to be as unsatisfactory as yours is. But I was impressed that Ms Smith did attempt to address the points I made as she has also done for EJC. She is of course completely wrong in her view and I had thought to send her a blistering reply but t...

I now have no symptoms
I was liberated in April last year. Because I missed my last appointment with my neuro I saw him for the first time after liberation yesterday. He said I now have no symptoms of MS! I have read other people announcing the same thing on TIMS and I am just a bit proud to be able to say the same thing....

I was hopeless in my first two appointments with my neuro (cog fog) and both times I wrote him a letter after the appointment answering the questions he asked better than I did during the appt. I am glad to say he is not like yours and has an open mind about CCSVI. If I was you Cece I would write yo...

MS Fatigue: Imagine the most exhausted you have ever felt. Just before you start throwing up and losing consciousness. MS Fatigue: Like a long distance runner who ‘hits the wall’ but I could get there in 30 seconds. MS Fatigue: So tired even breathing seems too much effort. This kind of fatigue is n...

Beginning of Cog Fog : being continually startled – like someone continually pressing a reset key in my head every second or two. Then everything slurred: ‘Slurred speech’ ‘Slurred sight’ ‘Slurred hearing’ ‘Slurred thinking’” Visual impairment: Couldn’t judge distances. If someone approached to with...

‘Clinical trials and sham procedures are imperative... Anecdotal reports will not suffice. Medical tourism is not helping.’ This is undoubtedly true now. And I am happy that we may soon have suitable data to enable treatment to proceed ‘normally’ in the US/Canada. But I am not happy that a large amo...

whilst agreeing with Mark I am happy that concerned references the article he did. Colin Rose expresses his usual preferences/prejudices but does reference two pieces of research which broadly support what he says. The problem is the age old one of placebo effects. Which can be a very slippery subje...

It has been posted elsewhere but Zamboni spoke at much greater depth about hypoperfusion at Barcelona:

This is something which interests me too. Zamboni has not made it clear and I do not think the aetiology has been explained elsewhere either. I do have some ideas of my own based on basic cranial anatomy and the videos of my own jugulars. But of course I am not a doctor so please feel free to critic...

Hi I am certainly not a doctor so this is only a layman's opinion but I don't trust what you were told about your transverse sinus'. I think most doctors assume there is enough redundancy built into your venous system to cope with some parts being blocked or narriowed. That may be true in general bu...

Hi CindyB My condition sounds similar to yours. I still have not had a positive MRI after four years but my Neuro is certain I have MS. I also have very tight neck and scalene muscles especially on one side. I was liberated in April and had a dramatic improvement. I am now close to calling myself no...

“Pretreatment pressures beyond the stenosis were not significantly different than normal venous pressure and there was no significant change in pressure after angioplasty. “ What bothers me about this quote is not that it has implications for CCSVI treatment if it were true but what it demonstrates ...
