Re: Any PWMS would consider JUST having CCSVI and no RX?

I used no drugs, I use no drugs. I am not against their use. They were just ineffective and not worth the money and interference to daily life. So, "CCSVI only", which is a real condition and has a practical circulatory effect, unlike DMDs which have a probable imaginary effect only.

Re: a CCSVI imaging study from Spain

Let's suppose that CCSVI is caused by MS. Neurologists claim that they can manage MS symptoms. So, why manage all other symptoms, but not this symptom? Are they so afraid of really curing something for the first time in their career? (Yes, CCSVI is curable in many cases)

Reported attack site?

Hi all. After searching using google.com's frontpage, I got a result from thisisms.com. Clicking on it resulted in this: http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/1990/attacksite.png I am pasting the search result link to make things easier: http://www.thisisms.com/forum/chronic-cerebrospinal-venous-insuffic...

Dr Zlokovic gave a fantasic lecture in Bologna during the 1st ISNVD explaining how Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, ALS and MS are neurovascular disorders, characterized by vascular permeability, while explaining that vascular damage precedes that of the nervous system. Regarding EAE, this not bad news. It...

What should be done? Self-censorship so that newcomers are not afraid of MS? Wouldn't that be unfair for the non-newcomers? This has already happened in other forums and, believe me, it was pretty bad. Or pretend that CCSVI does not exist and go back to the 2000s era? Why is mentioning a condition t...

Why does a neurologist mess with conditions outside his field? I also think we have had enough of that immune b.sh.t. It reminds me of a joke about a woman buying a state-of-the-art washing machine in order to place the wash basin on top of it! No, no, no, let us not start a flame discussion. I want...

Same error here when posting to Dr Sclafani's thread only. Perhaps something to do with the size of the thread?

Algis, this solution is for the webmasters of the forum. I doubt that users can do anything about it.

This question crosses my head from time to time. I am not on any DMD's 6.5 years now and I hope I am going to have the procedure sometime in the near future. I am happy about my choice, back in 2005, not to take mitoxantrone without knowing whether MS were autoimmune or not and live with the risk of...

+1 frodo Disregarding a theory, without even understanding it, is unscientific. I wouldn't want to be treated by a neurologist who thinks that the CCSVI treatment is balloon angioplasty of the veins of the eye during optic neuritis! The same guy has written an extensive article online with misinform...

One question (that may have already be answered, but missed): At the top of the sagital reconstruction, the vein looks completely anomalous. Is this because the probe as travelling inside the vein found turns in its way, but had no way of "knowing" they are turns, so it "thought"...

As soon as you are frozen you may notice you are also breathing hard, and other things. That is the epinephrine. AFAIK, epinephrine/adrenaline open wide the airways and are given as a first-aid to patients experiencing allergic shock that prevents them from breathing. Note: Epinephrine is a greek w...

I thought that the Zivadinov study and Hubbard's observations prove it. Ok, the observations is an ultra-strong indication, not proof with the mathematical meaning of the word.

they MAY find block veins. I am not talking bout veins. I am talking about perfusion/oxygenation . I rephrased it a bit so that I am more clear. who knows whats safe Is hypoxia safe? AFAIK, it is never safe for any tissue. theres usually collateral veins bypassing the block. after angioplasty blood...

Tell me, what have they found a few years before Dr Zamboni's publication? Is this difference safe? What happens after correcting the non-existi...

Original feta cheese is made by a mixture of sheep's and goat's milk. It contains no cow milk at all. If it does, it is not "feta".
