Houdini, Your combination (Copaxone, Minocycline, Zocor) is pretty much what I’m aiming for. When I last spoke to my neuro in Canada, with the usual question (what would you do in my case?) she said she would take a combination therapy, specifically, Copaxone and Minocyline. Only she couldn’t give m...

The link isn't working (its a problem with businesswire) but I think you're referring to Opexa's news release that its now listed on NASDAQ? Thats generally considered a good thing...it means their shares are now being traded on a major exchange...whereas before they were traded "over the count...

In response to previous. I think the fact that Sarah and others reported improvement on ABX is important data. The puzzle to me is only why their improvement occured -- ie. whether the ABX regimen wiped out a CpN infection or whether it provided neuro-protection/anti-inflammation that allowed recove...

Look, I really hesitated over the post. I’m grateful to those who are pursuing ABX, I think their experiences are pushing us consider new theories, and its entirely possible that CpN is involved in a subset of MS cases. I’d give a lot to be one of those cases but… my disease progressed while on ABX....

ABX -- not really working for me

I’ve been on ABX regimen for sixteen months. And I’ve got to say, with a lot of regret, that its benefits for me appear to have been limited. I had a single neurological episode (with no prior symptoms) in January 05 which left me pretty weak and screwed up. Within a few weeks I started taking ABX a...

Progression vs symptom relief

The posted slide show about cannabinoids raised a question I've had for a while. I note that in discussion of, say, statins, a number of people report seeing improvements rather quickly. Same with supplements, people report VitD etc has made a real difference and they feel worse if they miss a few d...

Great presentation, thanks for posting. I don't know how many people on this forum are in California, but its apparently pretty easy (at least in LA, SF) to find a 420 friendly doctor through craigslist etc.

Just to note...Jimmy's feeling that the niacin flushing is sort of spreading good stuff is my feeling as well. When my Dr recommended niacin he mentioned its vasodilation effect, that the increase in histamine causes blood vessels to open. On another BVit note...I'm taking large (prescription) doses...

Yeah, I like the flush as well. Cureo, you probably already know, niacin also lowers cholesterol, I'm not sure exactly how that works. On topic of vitBs...jimmy...are you finding thiamine has any impact on sleep? Your post said you take 'more' if you wake up at night? Thanks in advance for any comme...

Thiamine/Klenner Protocol

During routine visit to new GP (since I've changed cities) I reviewed current supplements:: he is willing to show me how to self inject vitB12, that seems like a good idea:: we also discussed self inject thiamine and I wanted to know if anyone is doing that. Thiamine does NOT seem as well supported ...

iron and folate-vitamin b12-methylation pathway

An abstract of this research from Tygerberg Hospital in SA was recently posted: I emailed one of the authors and was startled and pleased to receive almost immediately in response the full text of the article, as well as a handout of a proposed regimen based on the research's hypothesis...that is......

Do MS patients not see neurologists in the UK? I had my first/only episode in Canada, was seen by a neurologist within about three hours after arriving at inpatient emergency, and had a lumbar puncture in about two hours more. A tentative diagnosis based on the CSF results was given to me at day 8 a...
