Wesley, Other than the fact that spinal chord and optic nerve involvement seem to predict type of disability with fairly good correlation, I do seem to remember reading at least one study on lesion mapping (I'm thinking it was out of Canada in 2003 or 2004) saying that they had demonstrated some sig...

Bromley, I watched all the MRI clips. Pretty much same old same old: initial lesion load is strongly predictive of progression both clinically and pathologically as a whole; however, correlation between # of lesions & disability not so good in an individual. It all hinges on lesion location. Pat...

Theresa, I am so sorry. It seems like more and more kids are being DX and at younger ages. So very difficult for all involved. I'm fairly new to the MS world and am still trying to find out all I can. It sounds like your son was actually diagnosed before my daughter was. Definitely check out the dif...

I just got a copy.

Seems it's based on the Swank diet but incorporates a bit of newer research.

A lot of the information looks to me to be fairly compatible with the BBD as well, though not all.

What do you think of it?

School Issues

Have you had school/medical issues with your teen (or younger child) who has an MS Dx, and if so how have you handled them?

Edited to take out all the personal "stuff" since this was getting lots of views and no replies.

Aimspro is indeed an injectable... curious what Mr. Osmond was referring to. And did he say anything further about Daval and Aimspro aside from it seemed to be helping? I'll add a request plea for any information about 1) what oral med he is taking, and 2) how is he is doing on Aimspro? He has some...

I got a phone call from a friend who had just seen the show and told me I HAD to try and catch it here. (One of the benefits of living on the West coast) I guess any focus, especially with a few well known names, is a good thing. I agree with Wesley as far as the content though. Certainly nothing ne...

There does not seem to be much activity here right now.

Although I don't post much - just wanted those of you who are willing to share your experiences with an antibiotic trial here that I very much appreciate it.
I check in frequently and look forward to your updates.

Thank you

Need help finding a LDN link

Somewhere in my research I found a site where someone had put together an information packet about LDN you could print out to show your MD. It looked like there was a lot of good info there.
I can't seem to locate it again. Anyone know what I'm talking about or where to find it?

Thanks for taking the time to post. I have been mostly lurking for a couple of months as well. I'm the mom of a daughter who was recently Dx'd with MS at age 16. I'm afraid she is not ready to post or even read here yet (that would interfere with the denial, after all) but I agree that those Dx'd so...

No wonder my neuros don't like talking to me. I ask some hard questions, I think, that put them right on the spot. LOL Deb Just want to say I'm glad you do and that you put those questions and concerns here for us to see as well. I've been lurking for a month or so trying to educate myself and I ap...
