Re: Can I have a "clear" Lumbar puncture in '11 & have MS no

Have you treated for Lyme, Bartonella and Babesia? These infections are being misdiagnosed as MS at a very alarming rate. Educate yourself on the controversy and the new laws being passed, especially in VA which now requires doctors to notify all patients in writing that testing for lyme they may ha...

Re: Confused and needing HELP! - Is it MS or not?

willybambam, great name by the way. I have read many articles about lyme in australia lately, there have been numerous news reports and stories posted in lyme forums. it is very controversial and it's often more than one infetion usually babesia , or bartonella is involved too. furthermore there is ...

Re: Swollen Lymph Nodes

Here is a suggestion...MS is infection related just as is thought by a growing number of doctors. Are you familiar with the Wheldon protocol for Cpn? Are you familiar with Lyme disease and co-infections Bartonella and Babesia? Mycoplasma Pneumonia? Do you know how many people are misdiagnosed with M...

Re: Need a few opinions on my recent symptoms

My advice is to keep taking the antibiotics and educate yourself about Lyme, Bartonella and Babesia which mimics MS. It takes a very long time to get better with the antibiotics and usually you get worse before you get better due to what is called a herxheimer (look it up). That could be what you we...

Re: *waves frantastically*

If I were you, I would investigate the antibiotic section of this site. If you believe that Levaquin was a trigger, you may very well be right. It maybe just that you didn't treat with antibiotics long enough or with the proper antibiotics. You could've had the infection for years before you realize...

Re: Moving Sensation in my Brain 2 weeks B4 I was diagnosed

Maybe, just maybe something is crawling in your head. Are you familiar with the biggest controversy in medicine? Lyme disease and coinfections ? These are bacteria, protozoa, parasites etc... You should educate yourself and know that these infections are stealth infections and very hard to identify ...

Re: Why is the Wahls diet making me much worse, is it possib

If you had a coccyx infection and took antibiotic for 7 days, what infection did you have? What antibiotic did you use? It's possible you have lyme disease + babesia + other coinfections as Lyme is known to mimic MS. Very often when people get an infection and treat with antibiotic for 7 days and th...

Re: Going through HELL...

newfluv, low wbc is an indicator of an infection. You should also get tested for lyme, bartonella, babesia, cpn and mycoplasma pn. Then you should educate yourself on the lyme disease controversy. Then you should treat with antibiotics immediately regardless of the test results which are inaccurate ...

Re: MS? Seeing Neurology Next Week..Your Thoughts Appreciate

If I were you I would investigate Lyme, cpn, bartonella and babesia. They are often misdiagnosed for MS. I would educate yourself on the controversy of Lyme and I would read Dr. Burrascano's Lyme disease Guidelines thoroughly!! Your neurologist will laugh at these suggestions. I would also start tal...

Re: Frustrated and Scared

the steroids are making you worse. there is no cure for Lyme contrary to what some may say, especially in the later stages. Most people that get lyme also have coinfections that are also contracted thru the same tic. IMO, it's the coinfections (bartonella & Babesia) that keep you sick. You could...

Re: Frustrated and Scared

what you might have is called bartonella. you probably have lyme and babesia as well. these are super stealth infections that need multiple antibiotcs. you need to educate yourself about this controversy and the inaccuracy of testing. read Dr. Burrascano's Lyme disease guidelines and you will see so...

Re: New here and full of questions. On journey to Dx

It looks like you have been tested and ruled out many possibilities...the only thing I don't see is probably the most obvious of all considering that your wbc has been elevated for the last 4 draws and you have chronic sinusitus. Lyme disease and coinfections bartonella and babesia. Learn and educat...

Are you sure you are using an ILADS referred LLMD? There are not many LLMD infectious disease doctors out there, and there are none in Baltimore that I know of assuming thats where you are, based on going to Hopkins. I want to remind you that my cousin was initially diagnosed at Hopkins and then Uni...
