Holiday wishes...

Hi everyone,

I would like to wish everyone here at ThisIsMS a very Happy and HEALTHY Holiday Season and a New Year full of Prosperity, Laughter and Good Health. (And this is a longshot but, a cure would be nice too!) :P

Thanks everyone. I talked to the nurse at shared solutions and was told that I was doing everything right and to maybe try to ice before as well as after the injection.

So far so good.

I did tell everyone close to me. Even the ladies that I work with. It was easier then trying to hide the fact that I was having to leave work for tests and such over the past year. They were very excepting of it. Of course I have been here for 5 years and have built up a friendship with them. And I ...

LindaR,

I too was diagnosed this past year and my first symptom like yours was Optic Neuritis.

I asked the same question and was told not to do anything differently than I normaly do as far as getting sick was concerned.

Hi everyone,

I am currently in a study and have not had to pay. The study supplies it to me at no cost. It's a 2 year study and I started using Copaxone August 30, 2004! I can't imagine what I will have to pay once the study is through. I do have good insurance though. I will count my blessings!

JasonC,

I was diagnosed in August 04. Last year I developed Optic Neuritis and was sent for an MRI and a Spinal tap. The MRI clearly showed a lession however, the spinal tap was negitive. THey sent me for a second Spinal and that one was inconclusive too.

I don't know if this helps..

Has anyone noticed bruising at injection site?

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone noticed bruising at your injection sites? I just recently noticed that I have bruises on my arms and on my thighs. It's ugly!

Is there anything I can do to reduce them? As it is I ice the injection sites after I am done.

Hey Aaron,

Count me in!! I think the T-shirt idea is great! And like Niko, I am a t-shirt and jeans gal too! I vote for Black! It goes with everything!

The cost should be kept reasonable as it will attract more people to buy.

Will there be a membership discount?

Thanks for responding. I do acutally feel I have more energy since being on the Copaxone. I still feel a need to rest in the afternoons but I don't feel dead tired all the time. I am a little over one month into my treatment at this time.
