Re: Application submitted to FDA for approval of Plegridy™
On the radio today, they said it was an improvement on Biogen's "successful drug, Avonex." Didn't know whether to chuckle or sigh.

Re: Which drug to try next?
Firstly, being scared to death, is not going to help you with the illness due to the stress it will cause. Relax. Secondly, I don't think you are going to "get used to" Copaxone if you are having hives. My husband also had those, and after the 3rd time, he stopped using it. Didn't seem to ...

Re: Tecfidera efficacy & potential toxicity
Yes, hate to not be enthusiastic, but we all know how their last 2 blockbuster MS drugs ended up being less than expected, and as one finds out more about this drug, it seems Biogen's biggest success is its marketing. Thanks, but no thanks.

Re: Have a choice to make. Need Advice
I would like to add that my husband was on Avonex for 1.5 yrs and Copaxone for a year or less, can't remember. Avonex= terrible side effects, horrible deep injection, and did nothing. He quickly had allergic reactions to the Copaxone, which also did nothing. He did not have rrms. Following the best ...

Re: UTI and then not peeing?
Man, that was a while ago. The update was, he self-caths now 5 or 6 times a day and is dependent on that. Went to a much better urologist / neurologist eventually, because my husband had a bad attack in 2011 and was hospitalized for some time. He's stable for now, but in a chair, self-cathing, and h...

sensors not picking anything up in legs?
Has anyone ever had sensors placed on their legs to measure any current there? My husband just had this done, and there was no response. The therapist thought the machine was not working, yet, it did work, just not on my husband, but on the technicians. They said they had never seen that before and ...

Re: We had good news and bad news
Hello Jonathan, The doctor informed me that even she is not allowed to perform the procedure in France. She had been able to do a study at the hopital pitie salpetriere, but I do not know what came of it. I do know, that she felt my husbands problem was to do with a missing vein and a general lack o...

Re: When do you need steroid treatment?
I was in this position with my husband last Autumn. He was having a very bad relapse, but to see a neuro would have taken months, so I was instructed to take him to the Emergency room, where he was seen and hospitalized. He had steroids...they didn't make any difference at the time, so I have little...

Re: Do I have MS??? Please help :(
I hope you post what the conclusion of your doctor's visit is. How come you haven't had an MRI already? What if you have a brain tumor? Not to worry you, but I don't know why you are trying to get an exact match on here, seems like a waste of time. I've never heard of 2 MS people with the same sympt...

Hmmm, how do you figure that? I see you do not like to be disagreed with, but at least I am disagreeing with you on your thread about the manner in which you write, where you can read it. If you choose to ignore my point, that is up to you.

Re: AtlasBalance (jaw misalignment) Dr M Amir - Putney Londo
Yes, well it's the way things are done, that speak for themselves. So, I agree, if you disagree with a point Dr F made, why not just discuss it with him, on the thread where he stated what you disagree with, instead of basically calling him insane on your own thread.
