Brainstorm new research ideas!
One of the really exciting things about an out-of-the box theory like CCSVI is that it creates whole new ways of approaching the search for solutions. It feels like we have been stuck in a blind alley in the maze of MS research for the past 35 years, ever since we directed all our thinking to immuni...

There is one thing that news companies hate worse than getting scooped, and that is putting a big story out there and being wrong. Even after Fox news, as hard as it may be to believe, credibility is still important. With all the new studies being done, and all the new information, they will soon kn...

Boy we are sure at an exciting point in this process!! We need to know what causes the stenosis. Ironically, I have been working in the industry side of angioplasty and stents for the last 20 years. This is the first time this has intersected my disease. I feel like maybe I can do something to help. I think the first thing we need to do is really get industry interested in developing stents for...

Convergence of new thinking about MS!!
Elswhere in this forum there is an article from Australia that is getting alot of reading, and which is VERY interesting in light of CCSVI. http://www.thisisms.com/article63.html It says essentially that MS may not be an auto-immune disease after all, but is a result of oligodendrocytes dying for so...

A plea for patience
I am very, very excited about this new information and wonderful hope. And I too was in the process of getting in to see Dr Dake for evaluation and possible stenting. I was very disappointed when the plug was pulled on that possibility. I am 57, have had PPMS for 35 years, and knew that new drugs to...
