Gladstone: $5.8M for brain/immune/vascular in Neuro diseases
This research seems very CCSVI related. Here's a few excerpts from the press release and a link to it. Bold type added by me: https://gladstone.org/about-us/news/gladstone-investigator-receives-58m-grant-pioneering-research-neurological-disease Gladstone Investigator Receives $5.8M Grant for Pioneer...

Canadian CCSVI E-Petition to the Minister of Health
I found this announcement of a CCSVI e-petition for Canadian citizens to sign online when I googled CCSVI. Here's the link to the petition announcement, which includes a link to the petition itself. An excerpt from the announcement is below this link: http://www.wireservice.ca/index.php?module=News&...

Re: Improvement reports
Hi Cece, that article was a great find! Here is another article about the same woman. It was published in 2013, a year after she had the CCSVI procedure. Its really neat to see a recent article (the one you linked to in your post above) about someone who's still doing well 4 years after the angiopla...

Re: small vessel disease and MS
Hi Cece, Thanks for posting this study. I'd never heard of "small vessel disease" so after reading your post, I googled "age related small vessel disease" and found this article about it that sounds so much like the symptoms of MS: http://www.lifeextension.com/magazine/2014/3/leu...

Re: intracranial hypertension in pediatric MS
Hi Cece, That's a good find, and an Interesting article. I hope Dr. Sclafani still reads this site. Or other CCSVI Doctors... I don't have the medical background to decipher what it means, but it does seem like another clue. Its sure frustrating that so many years have passed and we still don't have...

Re: new from Zamboni
Can someone explain what they did in plain English? I'm really having a bad case of cog fog today, so I don't have the patience to analyze this. Was it surgery, like making an incision with a knife and doing something (what?) to their jugulars? Or was it angioplasty to open the jugular veins? The fa...

Re: Go Fund Me again...
Hi 1eye, I am confused by your post, but interested. What kind of a prototype are you talking about and what does it do? Also if you're trying to raise money for it, can you provide a link to the Go Fund Me page? I only read the ThisIsMS CCSVI board (and not very often these days since things have s...

Re: Brain veins contract before a lesions starts to develope
Hi Frodo,
This article is a GREAT find! Very intriguing and it surely indicates a role for the vascular system in MS. Plus it further points to the fact that neurologists could benefit from listening to, learning from, and collaborating with vascular specialists.
Thanks for posting it!
M.A.

Re: McGuckin disciplined in TX for CCSVI procedures
Hi CeCe, Wow, I'm so sad to hear that about Dr. McGuckin's run-in with Texas. I wonder what the backstory is. Also I wonder if there is a typo in the quote: shall not perform angioplasty and stenting procedures of the venous system for chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency (CCSVI) procedures or...

Hi Maidmarian, How did your procedure go with Dr. Arata? Do you have anything to report? I'd love to hear what it was like, was it easy or difficult, how is the recovery going, and whether you've had any symptom improvements. I hope your procedure was a big success! M.A. PS Your story about blacking...

Re: Advanced CCSVI diagnostic center will be opened in Ferra
Hi CureOrBust, I found this June 4, 2016 article in an Italian newspaper about Dr. Zamboni's space station experiment, and I used Google Translate to convert it to English. The article even includes a photo of the original collar instrument that was found on a beach near the launch site apparently u...

Advanced CCSVI diagnostic center will be opened in Ferrara
According to this article, an advanced CCSVI diagnostic center will be opened in a few months in Ferrara: http://www.osservatoriomalattierare.it/attualita/10599-ccsvi-nascera-a-ferrara-centro-pubblico-di-diagnosi-avanzata This is translated from an original article in Italian, and I think that a lit...

Re: CCSVI - Youtube pre and post procedure / testimonial vid
Hi Cece, Thanks for your recent post. It caused me to get curious about whether there are any recent YouTube videos about people's CCSVI procedures. It turns out that there are several videos that were uploaded to Youtube during the past year. Many of them are people posting about how they're doing ...
