I take it at 10pm which is my bedtime. Dr. Bihari states that it should be taken between 9pm and 3am. He also seems to contradict himself by saying that endorphin production starts at 2am. Seems like you would want the ldn in your system by 2am. Nevertheless, I don't think you have to take it at the...

I hope this isn't illegal. BOSTON -- Although investors sold when Biogen Inc. and Idec Pharmaceuticals Corp. first announced their merger last year, the newly constituted Biogen Idec Inc. is now riding a wave of euphoria. I had a phone consult with Dr. Patrick Scott in LaCrosse, WI this week. He is very friendly. I did have to send my medical records to him contrary to what I read elsewhere. At first, he asked about my symptoms. He made recommendations for each one I listed. The recommendations were all non-prescript...

I had to learn not to be embarassed of my condition. I can think of many other things I have done that I am more embarrassed about. I did not go announcing it to the world but once word got out, I was glad. Now, people realize that I'm not being rude when I need to back out of plans because of the w...

There really aren't any conclusive answers to your question. I've heard argument from both sides. This is what the UK MS Society is saying. Naltrexone and beta interferon Advocates of LDN suggest that it does not work when taken in conjunction with beta interferon. There is no scientific basis for t...

I just got off the phone with MSActive Source. They reassured me that this was not a safety issue. The recall was at the wholesale level. The FDA did not think it was necessary to recall Avonex at the retail or consumer level. It was okay if patient's used the syringes. Biogen did a voluntary recall...

I am going to call my pharmacist today to see what happened. I'm perturbed that since there is a recall, why weren't these boxes recalled? Why did the tainted solution end up in my body? Did BioGen Idec notify them to let them know? It seems like all they did was file the papers with the FDA. I hope...

I just looked at my syringe stash and figured out that the last 2 boxes that I finished had been part of the recall. I wonder if this is why I've been feeling like crap lately. FYI-lot numbers are on the syringes. Here are the recalled lot numbers: Lot Numbers / Expiration Date: P30027 June 2005 P30...
