I would not consider myself to be very symptomatic.
I was wondering what questions should I be asking my doctor.
I haven't been sick in my life so a lifelong illness is a new experience to me.

MS and Martial Arts
I was just diagnosed and consider myself lucky. My symptoms are not super bad. Just leg numbness, balance issues, and loss of some coordination. I was wondering if anyone here practices martial arts and what they might recommend. I started a year ago, and intend to continue. I am finding that the co...

Re: New guy here.
My Doc did say they would be beneficial, but she did not prescribe a specific one.
I just have a standard B Complex, D3, and Fish Oil 3, 6, 9 Complex.

Monday I have another MRI to get the rest of my spine and more of my head. Then a couple appointments to over the results and decide on treat...

Re: Who here has a Job?
I am employed full-time and work overtime aggressively. I also have not disclosed my diagnosis to my employer. I do not intend to, until such time it impairs the safety of my co-workers. I am a Security Officer in a hospital. I also go to school full-time for a double major, then plan to follow up w...

Re: New guy here.
My D levels were on the low side of normal, and I started taking D, Fish Oil 3 6 9 complex and B complex. Next time I am at the Doc's I am going to request copies of all my records and then keep them current. Does anyone use some sort of portable record? If so, what do you recommend? Or, is it even ...

New guy here.
Hello all, I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I am 39. I was diagnosed a couple weeks ago. I am still not totally sure on the type of MS and am still exploring treatment options. I have always been healthy. Never a broken bone, my only surgery was to remove my wisdom teeth as a teenage...
