CCSVI-Tracking.com

Compared to any other site (including this one), http://www.ccsvi-tracking.com has by far the best aggregated data (presented as user-defined aggregate and time-line graphs) on the impacts of "CCSVI treatments for patients experiencing multiple sclerosis symptoms" - or liberation treatment...

Cold feet

Cece, I didn't get any improvement in these symptoms, as far as I can tell. It's a little hard to be sure, since this varies from one day (or hour) to the next, and sometimes my left foot actually feels too hot, but I still have a cold left foot fairly often, and about once a week its so cold I have...

More info

Thanks, Dr. Sclafani. I did get some more information from someone else that suggests that even a venogram may not be adequate, that if there are "indicators" of azygous problems, then it should be ballooned: Chris has done a good job of answering your questions, Ted. It sounds to me like ...

Post-liberation CCSVI testing in Bangor, Maine

Here's an opportunity for people (perhaps especially for Atlantic Canadians) who have been liberated and need follow-up testing of their veins: From: Willis, Chris [mailto:cwillis@emh.org] Sent: February 23, 2011 10:43 AM Subject: CCVI testing Good morning Mr. Robak. I just listened to your message ...

Update

Thanks for that, Lew. I'm just over 9 months since liberation and, given that I'm SP, have seen results much better than expected, especially wrt fatigue, but my mobility and strength are better and (so far) continue to improve very slowly after the first two months when there was the initial sharp ...

Thanks

Thanks, I hadn't seen that before. Still, it does seem to go against some other results that say that CCSVI is congenital, and a lot of evidence that fixing CCSVI alleviates many MS symptoms. I suppose that could be some kind of vicious circle working.

Causes

dreddk, I can see the logic of CCSVI possibly being a cause of many MS symptoms and perhaps a primary cause of the MS "syndrome" itself, but what would be the explanation for MS causing CCSVI? Perhaps I missed some recent discussion about that since I'm not often on here anymore. Early on,...

Misleading

Hmmm... seems to me that misleading would be if the title says "not associated..." if what they really mean is that there was no certainty of association from a statistical perspective. "No certainty of" is NOT "not". Ergo, the title was misleading.

Numbers

Scorpion, the numbers provided in the paper contradict its title. The correlation of HLA DRB 1501 status with CCSVI is almost 5 times as high as for normals (40.7% versus 8.4%). Therefore the title is COMPLETELY misleading and cheerleader is right. If you are going to be a skeptic, great, but then a...

CCSVI found

Yes, people who do the CCSVI testing and treatment seem to be consistently finding over 90% of MSers with venous drainage problems. Lower percentages are usually only found by people who don't know what they're looking for. Unfortunately, just reading up on it is not good enough, apparently. Testing...

Improvements

Besides fatigue, my balance, strength and mobility have markedly improved (as noted by me, my physiotherapist and my neurologist). My hands have never been a big problem, but my feet are often too cold, but also sometimes too hot. Since it was always an on-again/off-again thing, it's really hard to ...

The numbers

The meaning of the numbers on the vertical depends on what is being measured. For example, for EDSS it is taken right off the EDSS scale. For other things they are where either the best or worst are set at 10. So good QOL goes up, good EDSS goes down.
