Re: Stented vein narrower - Is it normal??
I had my 3 months check up post-op. After the procedure, my left ballooned vein was 3.5 mm and my right stented vein was 6 mm. Now, they both are 4.5 mm. Is it normal for the stented veins to shrink??? My stented vein stenosed 1 week after treatment. And the other 2 which had an original stenosis o...

Dear TIMS members: It has been almost a year since I read about CCSVI on this website. In that time, Boopie has gone from having the no hope for stopping her progression to slight hope with reservations to brief joy at short term results and back to zero hope. Let me explain. She was scanned for CC...

Does anyone else have this problem?
I wonder if anyone else has noticed that they have to look up in order to do anything? If I tilt my head down ( keeping my body upright) I lose all my strength. When I was able to walk I noticed that I was always looking up at the ceiling, if I looked down I was unable to walk. I have recently come ...

Re: worse in am or pm?
The veins that drain the brain operate differently at night (inclined) and during the day (upright). Dr. Sclafani told us, "We should all remember that the drainage of the blood out of the brain has two normal pathways. When lying down, blood drains out of the brain through the jugular veins. ...

Re: restenosis question
I had both jugulars ballooned on August 4 2010. I felt great for about 1 week and the slowly slipped back to pre-procedure conditions. I contacted the doctor that did the procedure and he said it was impossible that I re-stenosed already. Does anyone have any information on why he says I could not ...
