Having Montel on board could be a good thing, but also a bad thing. I think CCSVI operation should be judged on its own merits and not based on one person's case. I am afraid that conclusions will be drawn based on his operation if he decides to go ahead, but would it really matter how his operation...

Emma today recieved a questionaire from the EHC. Questions covered were simialr to this:- Since your CCSVI procedure has your fatigue level:- A - remained unchanged B - Much better C - better D - worse E - Much worse None of that is scientific, mainly because you're trying to measure the unmeasurab...

Re: Neurology journal: "Have we found the cause & c

I might be missing something, but when I read the threads here I got the impression that good guys are fighting against bad guys, just like in the fairy tales. Don't get me wrong I still hold out hopes for CCSVI operations and I already went through one, but I know things are not black and whites. E...

Re: Neurology journal: "Have we found the cause & c

The question "Have we found the cause and cure of MS?" struck me as deliberately overstating so as to ridicule. The notion of neither jumping on the bandwagon nor missing the parade is more moderate. I did not get offended when I read this question, only disappointed that Zidanov's result...

I made a comment nearly a year ago that I still stand by. If CCSVI is the cause of or consequence of MS is irrelevant from a treatment perspective. If there is a condition that requires treatment, treat it. What kind of condition? Just because you have a vein partially stenosed that does not justif...

Ok, they've decided with this study that "Clogged Veins don't cause MS"......great....but what about the clogged veins?.....if I have a clogged drain in my house I still need to get it fixed....they've kind of missed the point. But if you do not know whether your clogged drain cause any p...

Re: 'Liberation Theory' does not exist

'Liberation Theory' does not exist so neuros are able to shoot holes in it. They are joined by the naysayer Lyon. Expression 'tilting at windmills' comes to mind. If anyone wants to see open label data from de-stenosis go to: http://ameds.co/about-us/recent-information,ccsvi-medical-report-by-ameds...

Till now this should be reliable enough: http://www.ccsvi-tracking.com/index_timeline.php But it should be confirmed (or not) by clinical trials. R. As far as I know this is a self-assessed measurement, isn't it? It is hard to aggregate symptoms, when there are symptoms that occur for someone and n...

CCSVI treatment has been going on in clinics for more than a year. I am just wondering why we do not have reliable data on the improvements. Why clinics could not have documneted this? Many of them treats many local patients whose follow-up would not cause any difficulties. Local patients could be e...

All these reports sound very nice; however, I feel after reading some of the postings here that the concern is how long these effects can last and what happens afterwards. it seems most of the people get restenosed and many ends up with a condition worse than before the operation. Another issue is h...

Re: 'Treatment liberates patient: MS symptoms improve for on

"Everything went well," she said. "I walked out of the hospital. I used my cane, I think it was just force of habit. Immediately, I noticed a difference," said Ms Wagner. "I felt better. I felt that my balance was better." That same day, Ms Wagner tested and videotaped...

like ive been saying on every thread i comment on, i think people are jumping the gun on getting treated. we need to find the cause of stenosis. I believe it to be from things(bones, muscles) putting pressure on the veins to the point it collapses. getting treated is just temporarily fixing things ...

And here are 17 pages of posting that treatment DID NOT WORK for them. Some patients saw no improvements and some had improvements but they did not last. http://www.thisisms.com/ftopic-12342-days0-orderasc-15.html i understand your point totally i get it, but even if it helps a subset of people??
