Re: Using a catheter
Reason is this: I'm r.r.m.s but I have chronic urinary hesitancy as well as retention. It takes me ages to start and before two hours I have to go again. It's not difficult or painful, the only trick is to be super clean so that you don't pick up a UTI. I just had my fourth or fifth BOTOX bladder i...

Re: Moving Sensation in my Brain 2 weeks B4 I was diagnosed
I quite literally felt a movement in my head. Like something was crawling around inside of it. The crawling sensation did not hurt but felt extremely odd. Something like this used to happen to me in my late teens. I would have moments when I felt a shifting sensation in my head, as if my brain were...

Re: 300 mg Biotin tablets available in United States
Hopefully after taking it for several months, the changes will be long term. But, for me, after 3 months now, I notice a decrease in lower body strength and coordination if I stop taking it. So, I plan to stick with 100-mg 3xdaily indefinitely.Really? I would of thought it was a long term change.

Re:Glymphatic System and Brain Flush - Best Sleeping Posture
The brain’s glymphatic pathway clears waste, especially during sleep.
Sleeping in the lateral position could prove to be the best position for the brain-waste clearance process.

Re: 300 mg Biotin tablets available in United States
I think any compounding pharmacy in the US can do the same, and a local one won't charge you for shipping. I get a month's supply from my local compounding pharmacy for roughly $180 for 30-day supply. I get these in 100-mg caps, so I can take a dose 3 times daily, spread out every 8 hrs instead of 3...

Re: The biotin trial results are out
I have done home made capsules before and had all the stuff apart from the Biotin itself. Not having to swallow 30 capsules a day is a relief. When buying the biotin powder in bulk, why the need to put the biotin into capsules? After measuring out a dose, couldn't the biotin powder just be dissolve...

Re: Copaxone When does the pain end?
I'm going on 15 years now, I've never used the auto-injector, I inject manually and never into the arms, as I am very lean and there isn't enough subq there to avoid hitting the muscle. I find injecting manually gives me the best control for avoiding muscle. It doesn't sound like copaxone is the rig...

Re: CCSVI ad
Fatigue is the most common symptom in MS patients and it's poorly understood and lacking in treatment options. There is not even a common definition of what "fatigue" is. It is experienced in many different ways. Some experience it as a profound need for sleep, some experience it as poor ...

Re: Ampyra Seizures anyone?
I had a focal seizure after using Ampyra for about 1.5 years. I had to stop using the drug because of this. I miss the benefit very much. The seizure was probably a result of intermittent poor kidney function. I've been off the drug for about 6 months now. My driving license was suspended for a few ...

Re: Melatonin Acts as Antioxidant and Improves Sleep
Some information about the use of melatonin in those with autoimmune disease: http://www.livestrong.com/article/435769-why-cant-i-take-melatonin-because-i-have-an-autoimmune-disease/ I've seen much contradictory information on this topic. I've made the decision to use it at very low dose because of ...
