It does get better, I promise. To start with I had wasp stings, then mosquito stings, now mostly I have no reaction at all. If I hit a blood vessel it feels like a horse kicked me. I have learned to avoid those places. I have also learned where my fat layer is too thin, that is arms and front of thi...

Perhaps it would help if he came here and got to know the rest of us. I think most of us were devastated at the diagnosis, but hey, you get used to it. For most of us it doesn't get worse fast, especially if your body is helped by the various therapies. You can actually hang on in there. You will ha...

Yes, me too. I was quite new to MS then, and the gynaecologist who noticed the swollen lymph nodes in the armpit thought it might be lymphoma. So they rushed me to the cancer department and took out some poor, innocent, harmless lymph nodes. In fact it was me who found the link when googling lymphom...

I discovered music late in life; as a child I was forced to learn the violin and I hated every minute, the whole "dead white European male" culture repulsed me, I wanted to learn the piano. I gave it up and ignored hand-made music until... when my daughter was 6 she wanted to learn the tru...

Well, yes, sort of downsize. They also serve who only stand and wait, as it were. For example: I can't ski any more but I can do Nordic Walking, as long as hubby understands we will be having a rest after 45 minutes. Karate is also out, shame, but I did a starter course for Tai Chi and will take it ...

I've had that happen when I hit a muscle. Wow, I felt like I had been kicked by a horse!

When I inject in the abdomen with the injector, I take a good fold and inject into it, never directly into that area. I know it says not to, but maybe my fat layer is not as fat as I think.

My Dad is a beekeeper and loves his bees. As a serious beekeeper he has truly vicious bees who would go for anyone - I can vouch for this. People with MS do come to him and ask, but he has never allowed anyone to be stung intentionally. A bee always dies after it has stung. This is really not necess...

No, quite the opposite. Cop makes me dopey, so I always inject before I go to bed. In the early days I forgot sometimes, then I couldn't sleep.

Mrs. George, as a Mum of two teenagers I can give you some advice, I think. 1. get a household help, even if only for a few months after the birth. These ladies are not expensive, and it is such a relief. Don't clean the house out of habit, wait till it gets dirty. Don't iron anything. 2. babies are...

Yes, me too. Especially when I am tired. When the words go it is usually time to go to bed.

Since I live in Germany I speak German most of the time, and the German words get lost first. I can try putting in the English word and most people will understand, but I feel like some new immigrant.
