Denver, You're in better shape than I am if you only have issues with certain vein-related stuff. I hate all things medical and always have since I was a kid. Nothing rational about it, it' just the way it is for me. Most importantly, Cece is right about the anastesia. Different docs have different ...

No, Denver, I'm sure you're not the only one. People should remember there are others who have fears and phobias about blood, needles, hospitals, etc. I have to lay down when I give blood cuz it can make me queasy. I don't even like reading about it. I don't like medical stuff, I hate needles and ge...

Fatigue? It takes me twice as long to do half as much. Then I have to stop, recover, and see if I have enough left to go back at it again. If it's a good day and the next day is clear so I rest, yeah, I'll keep at it. If it's not so good, then it just waits and gets added to the endless "To Do&...

Don't you already have a neurological partner in each patient's neurologist? They may not think much of CCSVI, but if you provide them with full information about the procedure as far as their patient and ask for their cooperation in administering the MSQLI, I would be surprised if most neurologist...

Remembering Holly

Time goes by so quickly. It’s hard to believe that tomorrow marks the first anniversary of Holly’s passing. I wanted to say to her family, friends, loved ones and Holly herself if she’s looking down and keeping an eye on us, that she’s not forgotten and never will be. She gave so much to so many and...

Its really sad when you think about it but Copaxone is actually cheaper on a monthly basis because at least you get 30 shots for $3000. If you take once a week Avonex, you get 4 shots for $3000 since they're all around the same price. It's insane. 8O

And the estimated cost is ... $30,000 year. Sadly, that's just about what I was expecting. See linked article for more about the drug. Pricing is mentioned in the last paragraph.

Maybe the answer is not to limit the discusion (except within reason) but to repost the questions if they are missed? It is unusual for him to be gone this long... Cece, I think we all know what he's been doing this week and why he hasn't been posting. This is not directed at anyone, but can we PLE...

From the attached article -- The FDA's panel of nervous system experts voted 25-0 today (June 10) that Gilenia (Fingolimod) helps reduce relapses. The panel is scheduled to vote on the drug's safety later this afternoon. The FDA is not required to follow the group's advice, though it usually does. h...
