Another article states that fewer than 1,000 members out of 31,000 typically vote in this board election! Sounds like it would be pretty easy to tip the scales, eh?

I've read and reread the piece in the BMJ. It's major focus is that an agreement reached between the NHS and the drug companies to revisit the price paid for the CRAB drugs once efficacy data was available was never put into action. It concludes that the price paid for the drugs is not worth the ef...

I remember that the interferon treatments all touted reduction in relapse rates (1). Perhaps these drugs...

I had the venogram procedure done through Dr. Siskin this past March. Evn though there was no stenosis, I have complete faith in this doctor (which is a rarity now-a-days). If anyone would like to discuss particulars, feel free to pm me and I will be happy to help out any way I can. Plus, I'm local...

BooBear, I would suggest being very up-front about your MS and what you are looking for including bringing Zamboni's paper to the doctor's attention and walking through it with him (especially Table III that covers the incidence of the various types of malformations). I know there is the fear of get...

Cheer, I hear you, but the old saying still applies, "talk is cheap." I am less a man of action than I was 5 years ago, but I still get irritated by endless discussion. When the history books are written, no one will remember Luc Malo's valiant defense of Canadian bi-lingual protocol. Sandy McDonald...

Just finished listening to the whole thing. So much talking and so little action. Now they have scheduled Dr. Zamboni to come on June 15th so they can talk some more!? The most ironic part is Dr. Duncan was not allowed to put forth any motions because the committee had "run out of time." Were they n...

Okay, I'm not Canadian, but I do know an a-hole when I hear him and monsieur Malo definitely fits the description. Good grief!
