Re: Curcumin Chelates Iron
Thekla -- that's my strategy too. I know lots of things in nature have a synergetic effect (eg. combining two items will produce 10x of the benefit of taking both items individually)... though there aren't many studies on this. I try and put spices in everything I can. Cinnamon in coffee in the morn...

Re: St. Michael's in Toronto
just wondering if any of the neurologists at the St. Michael's MS clinic are known to be interested in CCSVI?.... Jackiejay, what exactly do you mean by "interested"? Dr. Selchen met with Dr. Hubbard and had an information session in order to understand CCSVI better. This was back in June...

Transient Global Amnesia and Valves / CCSVI
Not sure if this was posted here before: http://bodyodd.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/10/11/8273914-mind-blowing-sex-actually-can-wipe-memory-clean ...snip... The closest thing to an explanation researchers have for this sex-triggered amnesia is that the problem may not begin in the brain, but in the nec...

Re: WHY WE NEED VALVES
New research. Valves were found in 97% of people in cadaver studies. ... This valve also prevents a sudden increase in the IJV pressure during coughing or during positive pressure ventilation and may thus protect the brain from acute increases in intrathoracic pressure.(8,9) This feature is unimpor...

Re: Phlebotomy anyone?
Please make sure to get your vitamin D levels tested every three months or so. It's not good to keep taking 40k IU daily in the long-run. You want to get your blood level ( 25(OH)D ) in the 50-80 range and then supplement with 5000iu daily to maintain that level. Studies indicate that for proper hea...

Re: This is facinating!!!!!
